About this deal

The final member of the Jedi task force sent to arrest Chancellor Palpatine is the first to die, and probably the most obscure, Agen Kolar. The interesting thing about Saesee is that he's been in three sets now, two of them being this most recent wave. On the open market, a used set will fetch in the range of between ₩449,581 and ₩559,082 depending on the condition. I would recommend this set, however there are certain aspects which I find a little disappointing, for instance the lack of accuracy at the expense of play features.

I like Palpatine, but I really wish he'd come with a neutral non-Sith face which would be a lot more useful for other scenes. Just press it down like that and it will flip him up in the air, representing him flipping around the room.As of today, 7261 Clone Turbo Tank is the most valuable Episode III set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of ₩1,115,050. To those who are complaining about there being to much text, come on, its not exactly War and Peace (! Near this area, there are also two mechanisms that throw Palpatine in the air to imidate his flipping he portrayed in his fighting style during the encounter of the Jedi Masters. I decided to give it a build first though before parting it out and was pleasantly surprised by its modularity and the number of play features packed into this set. He has a serious, but somehow slightly sombre expression and a huge amount of wrinkles printed on his face which even reaches a point where the horn piece covers up the design.

The very compact nose has been emphasised on the figure which looks accurate, but slightly odd in my opinion, however the incredible detail more than makes up for this minor drawback in my opinion. The legs and hips are dark tan as well and are unprinted which is a little disappointing given that most figures recently seem to have had some sort of leg printing. Great selection of figures although I would have liked the normal side of Palpatine's face not to be sneering as it would have been easier for animating etc.The other face has a much angrier face with sunken eyes and the same scars and lines for cheek definition. Best of all in my opinion, we get two metallic gold Microfigures which represent the strange statues that Palpatine has throughout his office which are very rare indeed and look fantastic. Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies.

If you have a minifigure, like Palpatine, standing on part of the brick in the office, and you press down the brick, it will catapult him. I think it would have been better if they used the same explosion technique they did for the wall in the Lord of the Rings Helms Deep set.More Minifigures are nice, especially Palpatine, Saesee Tiin and the brand new Agen Kolar in my opinion. The head piece is printed with two alternative faces, one of which is simple with a slight smile (an odd choice in my opinion as he did not do any smiling in this scene), some black eyebrows, and several wrinkles and lines on his face, as well as his many scars which are very accurate to the film. The moulded detail of his tentacles is fantastic and the only thing that could improve this part in my opinion would be if the piece was not cast in rubber, but the standard ABS plastic.

Here, his eyes are bright yellow due to him being corrupted by the Sith and his teeth are yellowed slightly which looks amazing. it is very good growth investment for most LEGO investors, it has also proven to extremely valuable for most Star Wars / Episode III collectors. This torso does have back printing unlike Mace Windu and Kit Fisto which shows some more of his creased Jedi robe and the rest of the belt. The front however is highly detailed with a brown Jedi robe, a dark grey under-shirt and a dark grey belt. If you're just a diehard Star Wars fan who's been waiting for this set for a while now, then go get it.Lego star wars Palpatine's Arrest makes a great display for the the collector and also has lots of play value for the younger Lego collectors, with 6 mini figures of major characters from episode 3 of the films. He also comes with two lightning pieces which represent his Sith lightning, I find these superb personally and although they have been included in sets before, such as set 10188, Death Star, they are a lovely inclusion. When I want to find out about a reviewed set, I invariably look to see if CapnRex has reveiwed it and will almost always read that one first.
