Flo has a background in Humanitarian studies and a Degree in Design, which developed her interest in how society works and the way in which personal relationships can strengthen communities. So when you see this little mark across the University, you know that it's part of the ‘Making it Happen’ initiative, and it’s your views that have shaped these changes. Her leadership has brought a laser focus and unwavering vision and commitment to “innovative learning for all” that supports the individual needs of students, families and staff. Community Development Workers are there to lend-a-hand and provide guidance to people to develop their ideas.

Sara is a trained community organiser coming from a voluntary background in the local community sector working with a range of environmental, heritage and art based projects over the last 10+ years.

To make any future that we dreamt up real requires creative scientists, engineers, and technologists to make it happen. Enterprise societies are prolific and have played a role in this transition, alongside bodies such as SIE, TV shows like Dragons Den, additions to the curriculum and competitions like Peter Jones’ Tenner Tycoon I think there’s a myriad of factors at play. Making It Happen awardees receive the coveted Making It Happen jacket and free ISTE membership for a year. A lot of people - including bank staff- lost a lot of money when they were persuaded to invest in shares. Our people are a mix of Thought Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, Analysts and Specialists, who are all passionate about Migrations, Transformations, Analytics, Optimisations and more to make your Business-as-Usual intuitive, secure and optimal….

As a former international hockey athlete, Nicola is a passionate advocate of equality; the name Title XI comes from the U. Making it Happen is delivered in a partnership led by Sussex Community Development Association, in association with Action in Rural Sussex, Hastings Voluntary Action, Rother Voluntary Action, and 3VA. Nicola achieved more than twice that and is aiming for 20% annual growth in her recruitment targets. The first, ‘The Lexicon – Making it Happen’, focusses on the period from 2001 onwards and culminating in the opening of The Lexicon, a retail-led regeneration scheme, in September 2017.

Initially published in November 2015, we’ve since added 8 new and inspiring stories of enterpreneurship and intrapreneurship from across our higher education institutions. Edinburgh Napier University believed in me and accepted me onto the MSc in Business Management with Entrepreneurship which I graduated from in 2009. We will work with our partners across the public agencies to explore how we can host more national and local business creation services. Their incredibly detailed analysis helped us to reduce our Application Portfolio from over 26,000 apps down to just over 1,000.
