T.L Smith consistently provides us with refreshing spicy scenes, it’s not always the same ol same ol. We met the Hunter brothers in a Villain’s Lies, although they weren’t in the story for long they made quite an impact. L. Smith is a dark romance standalone with themes that might be triggering for some readers so do proceed with caution. If you don’t catch up with her in her home state of Queensland, Australia you can usually find her travelling the world, either sitting on a beach in Bali or exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco or walking the streets of New York. Moments of Malevolence is an all-new standalone enemies-to-lovers romance with serial killers and hidden identities, where the villain always gets the girl even if she sets his house on fire.It's a fun read however with lots of back and forth but we don't get into the nitty gritty and this story had so much more to give. I love their banter and their back and forth so much, it is refreshing and so funny, plus the dynamics between the brothers is so good and funny. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s a scene that will literally shock you and make you fan yourself at the same time. There’s an extremely serious element in this story, one that Alaska has to work through, but it is a real-life element and it’s handled extremely well. I’m definitely going to keep this in my collection and read it every year and can someone please contact someone to make a movie series as well?

It probably says more about me than the book, but I thought this could have been a little crazier and darker?Then one day he meets Alaska and becomes enamoured, all the whilst not knowing that she’s also Sage. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the characters Alaska and Zuko and I'm definitely intrigued by Zuko's brothers Kyson and Kenzo so that I'll come back to the Hunter brothers, wanting more of this world.
