The old Magnesium Flourite coatings are to get rid of chroma and did nothing to end ghosting, or internal reflectiveness. I'm not sure which one is really doing the heavy lifting, they claim the base layer is a cross linking type product, but it smells like ammonia and stains plastic white (so can't use on headlights or other bare plastic).
