Description

This home gardening book shows you everything you need to barter, borrow, repurpose, and propagate your way to a bountiful harvest without burdening your bank balance!

Huw Richards has been growing organic food in raised beds for the last 17 years and recently launched Abundance Academy, providing online courses on improving garden productivity. Once you’ve found a good site, Huw recommends his favourite low-maintenance, high-yield crops, covering first annuals, then perennials (the key to growing free food, as with minimal effort they can give you harvests year after year). Außerdem verschweigt er, dass es einen großen Unterschied zwischen samenfesten Sorten und F1-Hybriden gibt. This is a good book for the beginner budget gardener but there are some things where being cheap will cost you in the long run.

With 15 years' experience growing organic, sustainable food in his family's garden, Huw Richards has seen that cost is often a barrier to people growing their own food, so he wants to help everyone grow fruit and veg sustainably and inexpensively. Registered address: Unit 5, Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, LE5 3EF, United kingdom.

I liked this book as it is based around growing things for free or as cheap as possible, a philosophy I stand by myself. Applicability of cancellation rights: Legal rights of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations available for UK or EU consumers do not apply to certain products and services.Key plant maintenance instructions are provided throughout the book, as well as how to fend off common pests and diseases. As if people with limited resources haven’t been growing their own food since the dawn of agriculture. Discover how you can barter, borrow, repurpose, and propagate your way to a bountiful harvest of fruit and vegetables without burdening your bank balance. There's also a lot of reliance on other people and community, which can be great, but just isn't an option in a lot of places.
