Some people might say that Anker printed the information in this way to intentionally mislead consumers. The one thing that is weird about the LC-90 compared to the LC-40 is that you have to unscrew the cap on the back to get to the charging port. In addition to that I keep one or two large ones in the cars (can be use for more than lighting things up) and a few in the barn. In conclusion, for: very good after sales service and support (hence the increase to 3*), good overall build quality and powerful light with good distribution (when zoomed in up to about 30%-40%, so as to avoid the big grey centre spot), good battery life, good packaging. The brightest setting on my iPhone XR’s flashlight is about 1/5 (or less) then the lowest setting on the LC90.Whether it's for camping, hiking, or everyday use, this torch provides a trustworthy and powerful lighting solution. Having to remove the end cap to charge is pretty annoying for me as it means this cant be left on charge and used as a grab it and go emergency light. I used several times when walking in the dark around the property and going into one of the unlit out buildings at night.
