The machine is suitable for those who are interested in creating a unique plush toy that can be used as a gift or a keepsake. Each time the bear pops off you can move the stuffing around into the legs, arms and head and once all the stuffing is out of the station your bear will be perfectly plump.

This toy was all about the experience of building the bears rather than the end product in my opinion. The only other thing that bothered me about the stuffing station is that once you have made the two bears that come with the stuffing station it is kind of redundant unless you go out and spend more money on more bears to stuff and fill. When the bear pops off, you manipulate the stuffing with your fingers into the arms, legs and head of the bear, before putting back on the machine to add more stuffing. The stuffing station comes with two bears, so if you have twins or siblings then you can give this as a joint gift. My nine and seven year olds were able to do the majority of this by themselves, the only thing that they needed help with was popping the bears back on the nozzle on occasion.It was actually easy enough to open up the bear’s zip, using a hair-pin, so it’s not the end of the world if this happens. The machine is perfect for children and adults alike who are looking to create a personalized toy that they can cherish for years to come. What I immediately love about this toy is the fact that no batteries are needed, a big plus from a parent point of view. use the station to stuff 2 furry friends, make a wish in the hearts, dress them in unique outfits, and name them on their birth certificates. Consenting to these technologies will allow us to process data such as browsing behaviour or unique IDs on this site. It is very easy to use, the instructions are clear and precise and because there are no batteries required you can get to work as soon as the stuffing station is taken out of the box and even that is simple, no fiddly tags to contend with.Half the fun of these toys is getting to be part of the process of making them, pumping in the stuffing, placing a loving heart inside and then of course you need to name your new companion. We tested out a Build-a-Bear Stuffing Station which features two different designs (of bear) and everything you need to create and personalise your own teddy bear at home.

We zipped up my son’s bear and then realised that the plastic hearts (and cardboard accessories if you wish) needed to be inserted into the bear. Personalising each of the bears by inserting a heart and adding in one/some of the cardboard accessories was sweet. You also get some pop out cardboard accessories and birth certificates for your bears, and of course the stuffing station itself. My nine year old actually has a bigger version of the teddy she picked so of course she got named Rainbow Junior.They both have their bears on the pillows of their bed and love knowing they have a special heart inside and that they made the bears themselves!

This may be quite obvious to other people but I was feeling a bit frazzled that day and hadn’t noticed. To stuff your bear you empty a bag of stuffing material into the stuffing machine, and then place your bear ‘skin’ on the output of the machine, before turning the handle to wind the stuffing into your bear. You stuff and create them, dress them in their lovely Rainbow themed clothes, make a wish in their hearts and you also have certificates for each of your creations. I was able to attach it initially but the minute the stuffing started to come out, it pretty much fell off.if you are not going to purchase anymore bears afterwards, the station is a little redundant afterwards but I’m sure most Build-A-Bear lovers will be after some more at some point! I could see younger children needing a helping hand with pushing the stuffing into all of the limbs though. The build-a-bear kit comes with a stuffing station, x2 different bear designs, x2 bags of stuffing, x2 plastic hearts which you can insert with some of the cardboard accessories, as well as x2 birth certs, x2 t-shirts for the bears and of course the instructions!
