About this deal

Little does he know is that the scientists who sent him away didn’t quite reach outer space and his is in fact still on earth in the woods. Jamie Smart's characters Space Raoul, My Own Genie, Count Von Poo and Fish-Head Steve have all found homes in the pages of The Sunday Times, The Dandy, Toxic comic and The DFC respectively.

By all the gods, to say that I was a little excited that Bunny Vs Monkey is now available in book form, is so much of an understatement, that 'excitement' needs to take a look hard look at itself and think about what it's done. I think younger kids would have a blast with this, but the jokes and story weren’t anything beyond cute for me. No doubt the pupils who suggested it will try to convince me otherwise but I can safely say I won't be reading any more of this series! All that changes when winter comes and some scientists launch Monkey over the hill, both them and him believing he's going to a distant planet.

Join bestselling comics sensation Jamie Smart for this hilarious collection of stories*, available in a new chunky format for the first time! Bunny and his friends Weenie the Squirrel, Pig (the pig), Action Beaver and Skunky the Inventor lived a peaceful life in the forest - until Monkey’s rocket crash-landed and he decided to take over! While I can see it being entertaining, the slight of making the bunny scream like a girl was really offensive, and there are a lot of different, more creative and funny insults that could have been used. I've been a fan of Jamie Smart's books for a number of years so when I heard of his kids book Bunny Vs Monkey I didn't hesitate to get it for my 7 year old daughter.

Even though this is titled Bunny vs Monkey, sometimes Bunny isn’t always actively fighting against Monkey. Join bestselling comics sensation Jamie Smart for this hilarious collection of stories, available in a new chunky format! Bunny, Weenie and Pig have been living happily ever (sort of) for a while, getting up to mischief and awakening bears. His well-loved Bunny vs Monkey and Looshkin stories are regularly published in The Phoenix comic, and as bestselling graphic novels. I understand I'm not the target audience for these books but I truely can't understand the popularity of this series of comic strip style graphic novels among younger readers.
