Having sought refuge in the safety of his home-made recording studio during the first national lockdown two years ago, Simpson channeled any feelings of trepidation and anxiety he may have been feeling due to the destructive nature of the pandemic, into his music – adopting a fresh approach to his songwriting and exploring with a mix of new sonic sounds, by merging confessional lyrics with vocodered vocals and alt-pop synths, to produce his most personal, and profound work to date. Promising audiences a night they won’t forget, the ‘Parachutes’ singer tells fans he plans to play a mix of new songs and old favourites, as well teasing some surprise on-stage moments too!
