Instead of the rich, complex, beautiful scent he had obsessed over for months, it was extremely fresh and citrusy with zero earthiness to it. In reviewing the simplicity of this perfume's note layers, I found this perfume to be a risk in purchasing. Usually I prefer scents with a bolder profile, but from time to time I do appreciate this discreet, second-skin, clean kind as well; they're very nice right after a shower, for instance, and I can also definitely see their appeal for situations where fragrances aren't very welcome but you still want to smell a little extra nice. This opens up with that synthetic melon note that’s just very cheap and sharp smelling (not like a natural smelling melon but rather a decaying one) and as this scent opens up you do get that rich,green freshness that I LOVE but unfortunately this scent plays a tug of war between that melon note and those refreshing green notes !Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. Patchouli usually has a very earthy smell to me, and this was very clean smelling, not earthy at all. When sprayed, This perfume smells like honey dew and then it turns into this vixen causing nauseating headache on one side of your head. I was really suprised and disapointed that this fragrance is so masculine :( My boyfriend didn't notice it but I feel like I'm smelling like a guys deodorant or shampoo or something. I don't use a lot bc a little goes a very long way and lasts forever on me maybe bc of my body chemistry.

This perfume is humble yet fulfilling in its use of white flowers to provide some resource to smell from. It’s similar to Maison Margiela Replica’s When the Rain Stops, except that scent is more obviously aquatic, ozonic and accurately petrichor, with pine added to the patchouli in the drydown for effect.One of those days where the rain droplets are completely soaking all of the plants and their leaves seem even greener and more vibrant against the grey sky and atmosphere.
