About this deal

If you land on white, look under the character pawn that you moved if you are playing the cake version. Case of the Hidden Toys: Players must solve which pet has hidden which toy in the clubhouse, using "neighborhood places" instead of rooms. A player can guess at any point during their turn by speaking up and stating what they think took place to solve the mystery. If you're playing the toy version, landing on white allows you to look under any pawn that you want.

Unlike other Clue Junior versions, the board includes seven trap doors and two spaces specific to this version: check clue here and check clue anywhere. Roll the die to see if you can move characters, look under those characters, or look under furniture for dues. Players roll the die to see if they can move their character, look under other character pawns, or peek under furniture tokens for clues.

The person who is guessing will need to secretly look at the bases located in the middle of the board and check under the character they are accusing to find out if they are right. Now preschoolers can get in on the mystery-solving fun with this Clue Junior game, featuring 2 levels of grow-with-me fun! In this Clue Junior game, players are on a mission to discover which toy was broken, who broke it, and what time it was broken. To set up the game, you need to place the game board on a flat surface, choose a character pawn and place it on the matching colour start space, place the furniture tokens on the matching spaces, choose a base of each colour and stick a label on it, place the labelled bases under the furniture tokens and the character pawns without looking at them, and give each player a detective notepad and a pencil. Also, cross out each furniture token and each character pawn you look under unless you find the crumbs. Players roll the die to see if they can move characters, look under those characters, or look under furniture for clues. Our mission is to produce engaging articles like reviews, tips and tricks, game rules, strategies, etc.

Kids can play detective, marking the detective notepad as they find clues, eliminate choices, and eventually solve the mystery. In the version for slightly older kids, players must also figure out where the prizes were before they went missing. Clue Junior is based on the classic Clue game; instead of discovering who killed Mr Boddy, the players have to find out who ate the last piece of cake when they did it and what they drank with it. By signing up you agree to receive communications from LoveToKnow and select partners in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To make a guess, you need to say the character’s name, the time, and the drink that match the clues you found.

As a college instructor and communication expert with extensive nonfiction and educational writing experience, Mary shares tips and advice related to a wide variety of topics. Secretly look under the bases in the center of the gameboard and the base of the character you're accusing. For The Case of the Missing Cake, set aside the white base with no label and the one with crumbs (face down) as well as the two yellow bases that do not have labels. Turn the five yellow drink bases facedown, take one without looking, and put it in the center of the gameboard. You cannot jump another pawn or land in the same space as a pawn, nor can the move end in the same place it started. For example, if you guessed Miss Scarlett, 2 o’clock, and milk, you must look under the bed, the bookcase, and the couch. For The Case of the Missing Cake, the player will need to state who they think ate the cake, what time they did it, and what they drank with it.
