It has moments where primaries stand out, mostly in bright scenes, but for a 2021 movie, it's just unacceptable to me. Even Iron Man 2 had its moments, and Thor: Dark World earned some redemption courtesy of both Infinity War / Endgame and Loki (as well as likely the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder no doubt). A decade back, an announcement over doing " Eternals" as a chapter in the MCU might have been met with a fair degree of skepticism with the wide open world of the Marvel universe hardly tapped into but for in perhaps Thor, and no certainty as to whether or not they could pull off a tale about a disparate group of superhero characters that very few will have heard of.

Eternals” is a different beast, looking to set a more contemplative mood with its cast of alien personalities and their different powers. I entered the film with an open mind, not particularly expecting action for 2hrs 35 mins but the film is laboured and once it has failed to grip you, the next hour and a half become fairly meaningless. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS follows a group of ancient heroes from beyond the stars who had protected Earth since the dawn of man.This film should have been a limited series event on Disney+, not a film that has to struggle to cram in so much material inside a set runtime. But that actually worked out out great because, I think the movie movie was way better than how I assumed it would be.
