Anyway, this book is amazing - I was quite literally floored by the information it contained as it was stuff I hadn't heard about due to selective (heavily slanted against Jackson) media coverage at the time. I read this book because I wanted to get a "pro-Jackson" view of this whole sordid mess after watching the heavily swayed "anti-Jackson" HBO documentary. They failed to cover the defense's side at all and to this day, people point out this trial as evidence of his supposed guilt rather than vindication of his pure soul. She was gutsy enough to dig deeper, looking pass, rumour, innuendo, lies and untruths to get at the REAL truth of the trial.I wasn't there, didn't witness it, and there are so many issues I have with the heavily biased accounts on both sides of this debate. Even though I grew up a huge Jackson fan, I didn't know anything about the case, and considered him, like, maybe-possibly-probably guilty.
