Description

Bricadilly circus is remarkably sophisticated, built arounds a series of wedgeplates and SNOT Bricks – it is a shame that they are covered up with the curved slopes. Unfortunately, this iconic vehicle is a little out of scale with the rest of the build, but I don’t this it would be ablw to be completes at a smaller scale. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure and the brick and knob configurations are trademarks and/or copyrights of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site.

By comparison, most of the modular buildings come in around this height, so I think we have to give the LEGO designers here some leeway as an Eiffel Tower that would stand 3 times the size of the one included would look really out of place in a small diorama such as this. We have been trading online now for over 15 years so you can trust us to provide you with your family favourites wherever you are in the world. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, DUPLO, the FRIENDS logo, the MINIFIGURES logo, DREAMZzz, NINJAGO, VIDIYO and MINDSTORMS are trademarks of the LEGO Group. There are a number of blackSNOT elements, and a collection of other poieces likely to be used in a way not previously conceived. As we start building, we use the larger black plates to form the backdrop, tilingh overt, but leaving some studs free for further details in the future. You might notice a single stud to hold the hot air balloon from part 2 of the build, and one of the newish 2×2 bracket plates (part 6250018) that is used to build the top of the Eiffel Tower. On the screens in Brickadilly circus, there are several references such as a crown for the monarchy, the name of the landmark surrounding a brick, a minifigure head and a sign reading ‘Sound of Bricks’ – which could be referencing the Sound of Music musicals time in the city . Celebrate one of the world’s greatest cities with this fantastic 3D buildable London Postcard (40569).

Big Ben stands a paltry 315’ as compared to the Tower in 40568, and yet it’s actually taller in the set by about 1 plate. Here again, I can understand why they made the size of The Eye and Big Ben the way they did do to the parts we have available. Are these inexpensive “postcards” growing on you, or do you continue to prefer the higher realism (and higher cost) of the LEGO Archtiecture Skylines?LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Brick and Knob configurations, the Minifigure, DUPLO and LEGOLAND are trademarks of the LEGO Group. Throw in a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate or a bar of Divine Dark Chocolate and you will be a happy bunny! I appreciate the final form of both of these sets: they are compact momentos of the cities, highlighting some iconic sights. For that special occasion you will probably do what we do in the UK and go to your higher end supermarket to get that lovely treat to make your day. Celebrate one of the world's greatest cities with this fantastic 3D buildable London Postcard (40569).
