It's great that Sam Smith read this, followed it and lost 14 lbs in 14 days but I wonder if he was following her rules exactly or if he went balls out cold turkey.

I would bet that I would never dread her appointments because she makes it very clear you simply work with all of it, no drastic changes just slow adjustments. The best indicators are listening to your body – headaches, low energy, lack of concentration, dry skin and constipation indicate dehydration, as does thirst and the colour of your urine, which should be a pale yellow (unless taking supplements with B vitamins, which can change the colour to dark yellow).
