Coffee grounds fall into a collection container that sits behind the nozzles and needs emptying into the bin fairly frequently, but it’s easily done by pulling forward the silver drip tray – it’s easy to empty out at the same time to keep maintenance tasks to a minimum. Back to the milk, the carafe has it’s own simple configuration option too – allowing you to really style your milk based coffees to your own tastes. You can also choose how many drinks you would like to make by pressing either the ‘one cup’ or ‘two cup button’. The memory functionlets you save the settings for your favourite drinks too, so you can easily access them time after time. o:p>

Making cleaning a breeze

This appliance has removable parts, which makes them much easier to clean. What this means to you and me, is that it will handle everything from the grinding of the beans, making the espresso through to frothing the milk. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at its features to see whether this machine is worth the money.

You can move through the options by using the left and right arrows to the top of the Cappuccino and Milk Menu buttons. You may have different preferences on size of grain and size of the dose depending on which coffee you are using – some mild coffees may benefit from a larger dose than some more bitter tasting coffees. Prior to doing this the machine will run a small cleaning routine, using hot water to clean out the coffee dispensing pipes. In excellent condition with only minor signs of use, this machine has undergone our in house refurbishment and verification to ensure it performs like new.

An espresso then takes a further 60 seconds to make, while a full mug of coffee can take up to two minutes.
