Maybe it’s the fact that you deeply desire deeper relationships and social freedom, but you’ve been struggling to overcome your social anxiety. You can learn a lot from an experience that went wrong, even if you don’t like the outcome. Don’t waste time overthinking about things you can’t control. Don’t sweat the small stuff. What’s done is done, so focus on what you can control: the present and the future. Sometimes the little annoyances and frustrations build up, or a series of unfortunate events happen that make you feel like nothing ever goes right.
