There are no interactions with this preparation. Other medicines containing the same active ingredient Frequency and duration of the application should be adjusted according to the type and severity of the condition, adults should use the bath oil frequently (at least 3 times per week) whilst neonates and infants should be treated daily. AproDerm Gel is a highly moisturising gel, without the greasiness of an ointment, which actively draws and retains moisture within the skin and provides a protective barrier to help reduce dryness and irritation. It is also an effective pre-bathing emollient so can be applied to skin prior to bathing to prevent it from drying out even further, whilst protecting it from the irritant effects that can be caused by washing and bathing products such as soaps, shower gels and shampoos.

AproDerm Colloidal Oat Cream, a light, paraffin-free emollient which has all the benefits of colloidal oat including protecting and restoring the skin barrier, soothing the itch, irritation and redness associated with dry skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, as well as having humectant properties and maintaining the skin’s normal pH. As well as being a moisturiser it can also be used as an effective soap substitute, to prevent the skin from drying out further. Undiluted Balneum should not be swallowed. If this happens talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Balneum Plus can also be used in the shower. In this case the liquid should be evenly applied over the body without dilution and then rinsed off under the shower. The temperature of the bath water should not exceed 36 °C as the regreasing effect is diminished at higher temperatures. If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to soya, peanut or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Always clean the bath immediately after you have used Balneum Medicinal Bath Oil. To do this rinse thoroughly with hot water and then clean with a household cleaner. It can also be used as an effective soap substitute, to prevent the skin from drying out further. Always clean the bath immediately after you have used Balneum. To do this, rinse the bath andequipment thoroughly with hot water and then clean with a household cleaner. There are no known harmful effects when this medicine is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
