About this deal

There are five different temperature settings (160 to 230C), a super-fast 15-second heat-up time and an auto-safety shut-off feature. They also come with a heat resistant storage pouch.

Here at Cosmo, we are constantly asked about the efficacy of the Dyson Airwrap and if we rate any dupes. Understandable really when it's one of the most expensive hair tools on the market and without doubt the most talked about. Instead of purchasing a bajillion different tools to create all your lewks (or filling your suitcase), just grab this interchangeable ceramic-coated curling iron set. It includes a spring-clamp barrel, a clampless wand barrel, and a triple barrel for perfect S-shaped beach waves, and was actually created by hairstylist Joseph Maine. One small detail that might sound like NBD but makes the biggest difference, IMO: The temperature dial is on the far end of the handle, rather than right underneath the clamp (the usual spot for it), so it’s out of the way and won’t accidentally get bumped and change your settings. It's the little things, y'all.

Before we get into the “best” straightener for damaged hair, you need to know that all hair straighteners can be damaging to some extent, especially with repeated use, so there’s no magical hair straightener that will inflict zero damage on already damaged hair. You’re putting your hair in between two super-hot plates, and if it’s not a good iron, you’re likely going over and over the same piece of hair to flatten it. This can all lead to dryness, split ends, dullness (especially if your hair is color-treated), flyaways, and hair breakage. And those are just the basics. You've also got the choice between auto shut-off features, wide or thin builds, and ceramic or titanium plates (fyi, ceramic = softer heat that’s better for finer, straighter hair; titanium = stronger heat that’s better for curlier, coarser hair). I know it sounds overwhelming, so to make the shopping experience easier for you, I researched, tested, and reviewed the top hair straighteners on the market right now. Here's a sneak peek at some of my favorites: Neither ceramic nor titanium is necessarily better or worse—it's just that one plate is likely better for your specific hair type. “ Ceramic plates are often ‘safest’ for dry, damaged, or fragile hair,” says hairstylist Amy Abramite, adding that these plates, in general, don’t get overly hot, so the overall temperature of ceramic irons stays in a relatively safe range. With brands like Dyson and ghd and Babyliss ditching the wires, we're starting to see other brands follow suit - meaning it's only a matter of time before cord-free styling becomes the norm.

There's never been a better excuse to ditch your old – probably super damaging – hair straighteners for some swishy new ones. If you like to flat iron your type-4 hair on occasion and want to minimize the possibility of, you know, extreme heat damage, you need to find the right flat iron for natural hair. But if you've been burned by a poor-quality hair straightener before (I mean that both ways), you know that finding the right styling tools for your hair type, texture, length, and budget isn't easy. What works for your friend's 3b hair might not work for your 4c hair, so you want to make sure you find a straightener that's equipped with all the features to suit your hair needs and mitigate the damage. And to help you make the right choice, we turned to celeb hairstylists Annagjid "Kee" Taylor and David Lopez to explain exactly what to look for in a flat iron.

We’d love to be able to tell you that hair straighteners are good for your hair, but all that heat does come at a price. Temperature settings: consider hair straighteners with variable temperature settings so you get the optimum experience for your hair type and desired look. Such a feature is also great if you plan on sharing your straighteners with others.

Guys, please apologise to your wallets for me, because I'm 99.999% certain they're about to take a big hit... Why? Because Dyson just announced they're launching hair straighteners (!!) We love the Airwrap because it's *so* versatile. Yes, it is expensive, but we love how easily it can perfect a flippy fringe or voluminous blow-dry or bouncy waves—all with one tool. Still, it's not a perfect creation. While the additional attachments the brand has released help with managing longer hair or coily hair, there might be an Airwrap alternative that's better suited to your hair type. Extra-long hair, for example, might prefer a curling tong with a longer barrel size, while curly hair might want a round brush and some tension to stretch out and straighten. Why we love it: Taking a break from chemical formulas from time to time should be a no brainer – hair care included, and this L'Oréal straightener is as close as we'll ever get to naturally straightening your hair. This steam hair straightener, which promises soft, shiny and velvety hair, comes with a little pod, which you fill with water to steam your hair straight – and it totally works. Styling with less heat damage, it's unique and innovative, coming with a built-in brush which results in a style which lasts all day long. Hair feels shinier and softer after use, and the steam makes your hair feel more hydrated. So good that it'll save you money on heat protection sprays too. Whether you’re looking for bouncy curls, straighter hair, a chic tousled fringe, or just an all-in-one styler, we've gotchu covered with the best Dyson Airwrap dupes of 2023—tested and reviewed!—that feel close to the real thing.

We're not being dramatic when we say that finding 'the one' will make a huge difference to your daily routine. We're talking no more frazzled lengths, no more static flyaways and best of all, no more split ends. Hair Straightener and Curler 2 in 1】Curl, wave or straighten your hair with one tool! The Pro 1" Multi-Styler with Twist & Curl Technology features unique twisted & curved & round plates that guide hair to set bouncy curls, beach waves, or straight styles Annagjid "Kee" Taylor is the owner of the natural haircare salon Deeper Than Hair and a celebrity hairstylist who has worked with Keke Palmer, Tika Sumpter, and Tiffany Haddish. Taylor is also the owner of haircare brand Shear Genius Collection, the creator behind popular YouTube channel Deeper Than Hair TV, and the author of the children’s book All Hair Is Good Hair. Yes, you can't really create anything else but poker-straight strands ( mermaid waves and tight curls are sadly out of the question) but it really does what it says on the tin. I'd never seen my hair this healthy-looking after using a hair tool. Instant Heating】Fast 30 second heat-up time. Professional length 2.0 m 360° swivel cable. Automatic safety shut off in 60 minutes and featuring 100-240V dual voltage so you can take it on all your worldwide travel

So, rather than the traditional version of a compact, why not opt for a wire-free straightener seeing as they're much more of a travel-friendly option – perfect for the fast-approaching summer holidays. Next, you want to decide if you want a classic curling iron with a spring clamp, a marcel iron, or a curling wand. Not only does the type of curling iron change the way you hold and maneuver it, but it also affects the end results of your curls. “I love a curling wand for a beachy, messy look, and the iron for a perfect curl shape and hold.” says Tamika Gibson, hairstylist and wig expert. “A wand is great for looser curls but doesn't give the same hold or structure as an iron." Of all the curling irons and wands I’ve tested, my favorite is the Conair Double Ceramic 1-inch Curling Wand for how long my curls last and how simple it is to use.
