Q. is this Cuprinol shed paint suitable for a smooth planed timber summer house I'm having installed? A. Cuprinol Shed and Fence Protector is suitable for all exterior wood. The colour of this product on smooth planed timber may be different than on rough sawn timber. Rough sawn timbers can absorb more of the product resulting in a darker, stronger colour than on some smooth planed timbers. We always recommend doing a test area before starting any large project to assess the colour and final finish once dried. Any holes, gaps or splits in the surface of the wood can be filled with Cuprinol All Purpose Wood Filler or Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Filler if desired
