About this deal

Like the look of this Hisense TV but need a different screen size? This model is also available in the following sizes: The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV features HDR technology, which stands for High Dynamic Range. This technology expands the TV’s color gamut and increases the contrast ratio, resulting in a more lifelike and immersive viewing experience. The TV supports different HDR formats, including Dolby Vision HDR, considered the most advanced and provides the highest picture quality. OLED Technology We consider this as a low price and a pretty good deal, that is why today we will take a closer look at the50A7GQTUK product features and specifications. The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV has a 4K resolution, which means it offers four times the amount of pixels as a Full HD TV. This results in a more detailed and realistic picture, which is especially noticeable in gaming and movies. The TV also supports HDR content, including Dolby Vision HDR, which provides even more vibrant and lifelike colors. 8K Resolution

The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV is designed specifically for gamers and shows in its performance. The TV’s Game Mode reduces input lag and improves response time, making it an excellent choice for gaming. The TV’s Quantum Dot Technology and Dolby Vision HDR also provide exceptional color accuracy and contrast, enhancing the overall gaming experience. The TV’s 60Hz refresh rate ensures smooth and seamless motion during fast-paced action scenes. Picture Settings Hisense’s recent strong run of form comes to a shuddering halt with the 55A7GQ. Any good work this TV musters is completely overwhelmed and undermined by a contrast performance so poor that dark or even mid-bright scenes never look remotely convincing. In fact, it’s sometimes hard to even make out what’s going on.

Key specs

The 55A7GQ avoids a complete picture quality wash-out on three fronts. First, its native 4K pictures are impressively sharp and crisp. This remains reasonably if not brilliantly intact when there’s motion in the frame, too, thanks to minimal judder and surprisingly little blurring and resolution loss if you call up the set’s decently effective Clear Motion setting. Compared to the U7QF, the A7G is a downgrade in features. Where the U7Q had Full Array local dimming the A7G makes do without. It’s not a full house for HDR formats either, with the Hisense able to decode HDR10+ but not officially certified for it. Use Alexa via the Remote NOW app to control your TV with your voice, search across the VIDAA U platform or use any Alexa skills. The desktop stand also looks more metallic than it actually is, and its ’open’ style minimises the impact the TV has on your decor.

Second, the 55A7GQ’s upscaling of sub-4K sources is rather basic. On the upside, the upscaling does quite well at making pictures look sharp, adding eye-catching emphasis and definition to lines, edges and textures. Unfortunately though, the upscaling seems to make little if any effort to distinguish source noise from real image information, and so ends up sharpening and emphasising noise as well as ‘real’ image information. It also tends to over-exaggerate grain. The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV does not feature a One Connect Box. This feature is only available on Samsung TVs and allows you to connect all your devices to a single box, which then connects to the TV via a single cable. This reduces cable clutter and makes it easier to manage all your devices. Accessories The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV has a standard one-year warranty covering any manufacturing defects. This warranty is in line with industry standards, and most customers do not have any issues with the TV’s performance or quality. VS Other Brands Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM): allows the ideal latency setting to automatically be set allowing for smooth, lag-free and uninterrupted viewing and interactivity

The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV has built-in Wi-Fi and many network settings allowing accessible internet and other devices to connect easily. The TV’s network settings enable users to customize settings such as Wi-Fi connectivity, network name, and more. Calibration The remote is a similar effort to previous and a slight improvement as it doesn’t attempt to cram as many buttons into a small space. Features Watch the action unfold seamlessly with Smooth Motion, reducing blur and screen lag for clearer, more fluid scenes. Boost your chances of winning with input lag less than 20ms. The 50A7G TV stand is well designed and easily attaches to the cabinet. There are some cable management features built into the stand. The stand color is slightly different from the rest of the TV. The model is made in a metallic dark gray with a greenish tint. The material is plastic. Connections The interface is separated into several sections, but apps is where the action is. The app selection is focused rather than bountiful; Netflix has pride of place on the top row and all the UK catch-up apps are covered (as Freeview Play), with Disney+ and Britbox available also. There’s VIDAA Free, which rounds up a selection of free content from the likes of Plex, Vevo, YouTube and Facebook Watch for more options.

The Hisense 50E77HQTUK QLED Gaming Series TV features QLED technology, which stands for Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode. This technology uses tiny nanoparticles called quantum dots to enhance the TV’s color gamut and brightness. QLED displays offer a better overall picture quality than traditional LED displays and are more affordable than OLED and MicroLED displays. Ambient Mode As a big-screen fitting for sports and movies, it also starts at a slightly cheaper asking price than the U7QF model it replaces. But does the more affordable price suggest the A7G is a downgrade on what came before? Design
