About this deal

Incorporating luxury materials such as real wood veneer and tactile spun-metalswitches and knobs, the Klipsch Heritage Wireless series of powered audio systems blends the acoustics and classic design legacy of Paul W. Klipsch with the latest technologies available today. With its built-in Google Assistant and voice control capabilities, the Klipsch The Three II offers convenient hands-free operation. Users can easily control their music and other smart devices using voice commands. The Three II is fairly volume dependent in a variety of ways. At nominal volumes, the Klipsch device is a solid performer with a pleasingly rich low end and an accurate and clear high-end, and it’s also very strong on dynamics. But the qualities of its timbre and dynamics shift as the volume goes up or down. At high volume, it especially suffers; this isn’t a speaker for loud house parties, and it’s not ideal for fans of electronic music or hip-hop. This is also where the device produces some unfortunate artifacts. Sub-scores explained All input options, connecting to virtually any source, including your turnable, computer, CD player, smartphone, or tablet

The Klipsch The Three II is a speaker that offers impressive sound quality and a sleek design. With its compact size, it is suitable for various spaces, such as living rooms, bedrooms, or offices. Klipsch has made some truly breathtaking pieces of equipment, and The Three from their Heritage Wireless series is no exception. Regardless of Klipsch's strange naming schemes, we have to give them credit for creating such a gorgeous little speaker. And while we'll talk about the aesthetics in the design section below, we want to make it clear that The Three sounds better than most speakers we've encountered.Long-Throw Woofer ขนาด 5¼ นิ้ว 1 ชุด รวมไปถึงส่วนขยายเสียงอย่าง Passive Radiator ขนาด 5¼ นิ้วอีก 2 ชุด This being a Klipsch, it also proudly boasts of state-of-the-art sound, with two 2 1/4” full-range drivers and a 5.25” long-throw woofer. As the brand describes it, “Bi-amplified for audio resolution, the Three II offers an unrivaled sound experience to transport you into the recording studio with the musicians.” Let’s see how this classically styled, front-firing Klipsch device fares in our rigorous DXOMARK Audio testing protocol. Retested the speaker's Bluetooth range. In our initial results, we accidentally switched the measurement in feet with the measurement in meters. The Bluetooth score improves from 6.4 to 9.0. Complex orchestral material – for example Dvorak’s In Nature’s Realm, as played during a Radio 3 evening concert – was given a tonally-credible presentation too. But there’s a caveat – the orchestra sounded as if it had been crammed into a small room, simply because the stereo image is so narrow from a box that’s 35cm wide.

The only, and very slight, "complaint" we have about the sound is a slight boominess coming from the lower-mid-range, that only really presents itself while listening to podcasts or talk shows. Deep voices are accentuated with a low rumble - most likely thanks to the passive radiators, which we'll talk more about below. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however, and certainly not unpleasant to listen to. The extra boost means you can hear the words loud and clear from across the room. If you want to avoid the boominess, we suggest keeping your sound at a moderate volume, and avoid placing it in a corner where the bass might get trapped. Despite this, The Three is one of the more balanced wireless speakers we've come across, and we'd recommend it for all your at-home listening needs. With a Bluetooth connection, the sound can be exaggerated, and unpleasantly sharpened, but with Wi-Fi, this problem does not occur. As a single loudspeaker, it does not create an equally wide soundstage as two loudspeakers do – it is probably obvious. Such beauty in such solutions. The matter of selectivity of sounds is completely different, which is fantastic. Even elaborate musical arrangements using a multitude of instruments sound very clear and selective on Klipsch. All this means that you can successfully listen to large ensembles, such as a symphony orchestra, on this device. Klipsch The Three II Video Review

If you have access to a Chromecast Audio though, the Klipsch is even better. Spend a little time listening this way and it becomes clear that the Three II has made what might look like a weakness into a potential strength. The fact you can attach any of the voice assistant products to it rather than having to go with an inbuilt option is something that renders it rather flexible. It would be wonderful if it could power those units too but it’s clever nonetheless. The USB input is also effective. I’m not completely sure how many people will use it but it delivers on the promise of being able to send Hi-Res audio to the Three II. If you are looking for an intriguingly different computer speaker, it makes the Klipsch a fine choice although I’m still tempted to say that an optical connection might have seen more use.The Three sounds much better if we provide it with a Wi-Fi signal, so it’s worth taking a moment to configure the network connection. The sound diameter is warm and pleasant to listen to. Human voices sound very coherent and natural, and the high detail and outstanding separation only reinforce positive feelings. Of course, a good stereo system will offer us a higher sound culture and stage experience, although it is hard to objectively compare the sound classes of such different audio systems. High tones are slightly brightened and abundant. Klipsch does not withdraw anything, it does not hide or mask anything. It provides everything that we should hear in the upper registers. The Three II includes audio input connections for Turntables (MM phono stage), Computers (USB Type B), other analogue devices and wireless Bluetooth ®devices. So go ahead, connect whatever's in your home and enjoy superior stereo sound from a beautifully crafted tabletop stereo system. Where the Klipsch differs from many rivals is the features and inputs it is supplied with. Klipsch makes a voice assistant speaker in the form of the visually very similar The Three Google Assistant (no prizes for guessing which of the voice control protocols it supports) but the Three II does without any form of network capability at all. This means there is no UPnP, AirPlay or Chromecast but, equally, you do get some inputs that I’ve been bemoaning the absence of on other products recently. Before we discuss those, you do of course get Bluetooth. In this case, it’s a v4.0 implementation with aptX but no AAC as best I can discern. With award-winning acoustics and a striking mid-century modern design, the Klipsch Heritage Wireless Three II tabletop stereo speaker system can connect to almost anything, meaning you can bring your music to life from virtually any source - anywhere in your home.
