I put mine on twenty minutes before the round during my testing and even kept them on whilst we waited out a weather delay in the clubhouse, and the Alphacat were just as comfortable on the course as they were while I ate my club sandwich and chips! Nothing particularly stood out as being brilliant but neither was there anything which posed any distraction out on the golf course, and I think you'd take that from your golf shoes. The best designs will keep your feet bone dry however if you play golf in glorious sunshine most of the time, then you may view other factors as more significant.
