Callie and Marie have remained a part of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, but their grandfather, Cap'n Cuttlefish, has retired from being the leader of the group, passing command over to Agent 3 from the first game, though he still takes time to recruit a New Agent 3 from Splatsville to help them deal with DJ Octavio's forces once more when the Great Zapfish disappears again.
