About this deal

bcos the parts that weren’t a snoozefest? they hit hard for me, ngl. there were some seriously cute moments between Rowan and Zahra— especially some of the special things Rowan did for her. with the book signing, the dinners, the drawings, etc. ZAHRA A GIRLBOSS, I loved her so much. We don't get women as strong and as independent as her in fiction very often. AND I NEVER GET TIRED OF THESE CHARACTERS. She's this bright and intelligent person who took hardships in life and used them as a weapon to make herself a better person. THE FAVORITE PART OF THIS BOOK for me was Zahra's relationship with her sister Ani. And Ani was my favorite character. I have a soft spot for disability rep in fiction and THIS ONE was executed so well! I wouldn't say that any of the dialogue she was involved in was very realistic, but I can forgive that one. Ok, I’m clearly not a fan. FYI: This ‘review’ will most likely be a rant (a long one) with major spoilers.

But what I liked most about him were the subtle way of showing affection to Iris and the things he did to help her with her dyslexia without her knowing. I started to like the book when Declan made up his mind in the second half and decided to chase Iris. The trope where the guy falls first always hit some kind of way and when all the little things Declan did for Iris over the years were revealed, I’m soft. Especially the font scene. Ugh my heart! the other example that stood out to me was when Rowan admits to Zahra he’s Scott... that is a whole other can of worms i ain’t even touching bcos wtf. Please tell me you didn’t just say the favorite thing about your husband, the love of your life, is his anxiety, which showed because he was waiting for your approval and he’s scared you’re gonna run again because he thinks that he’s unloveable. Literally his own words. Unlovable. How is this romantic. Also Zahra purposely messing up the bowling swing he was teaching her just so he could keep touching her...CAL CRUMBS GAVE ME LIFE (which makes me both very optimistic and scared for the third book. Based on his behavior in the first two books, I think he's going to be my favorite brother. And also, if the author destroys his character in the last book, I'm going to be SO UPSET). So unpopular opinion but: I didn’t really like it . I’m sorry to disappoint all the lovely people who were the reason for my reading this .I don’t know if it’s just me but here are some of the things that didn’t do it for me : Cal breaks through the crowd and raises his drink in the air. “Family therapy is on Thursday nights. Don’t be late!” declan was a carbon copy of rowan plus the mommy issues. it felt to me as if the author didn’t know which route to take with his character. she wanted to make him this hot grumpy asshole with an impenetrable cold exterior when he just came off as plain and boring… declan, babe, have you ever considered therapy?

and hands down, Rowan and Anis interactions were the superior parts of this book. i will die on this hill!! Being the heir to his family’s media empire, Declan is the CEO of a major legacy, but his grandfather’s will stipulates that he must marry and have an heir of his own. His assistant Iris then volunteers for the job, and the position seems simple at first; get married and have a baby together. They’re not supposed to fall in love, that is until a passion between them both begins to grow, one that they desperately try to fight off. Will they both end up together finally, is Declan going to continue his family’s legacy, and just what are the terms and conditions? I did some research on how people with learning differences like yours do better with verbal and written instructions”for the romance, it’s hard to detect any because unfortunately, i didn’t feel the chemistry between declan and iris. when i expect a marriage of convenience, boss/employee romance, i think of angst, jealousy, TENSION, and trying their best to deny they have actual feelings for one another! here, it was insta-lust and you could just tell from chapter two that declan was infatuated with iris. if he’s already head over heels this early on then what’s the point in me reading the rest of the book? i wasn’t able to see the connection between them (except for maybe their past but? what did they bond over? what did they do except go on fake dates and annoy me with mr yakura. couldn’t care less!!) the drama ? Idk this book just annoyed me . I could tell which moments I was supposed to swoon and go “awwww” but that’s not what happened . It felt immature for some reason and the writing style was so off . I don’t know if it was just too formal but it was evidently bad .There was a whole lot of cringe and eye roll moments From the jump, Iris and Declan steal the show. They are an entertaining couple with an equally fun story! I didn't like the whole "Is Iris setting this up because she likes me?! Eww" schoolyard vibe in the beginning...

When it comes to the couple, Declan is by far the better one. Even though he presents a tough exterior, he's a marshmallow at heart for Iris. He's ready to open up, try new things just for her. He's willing to put in effort and that's so sexy in a man. The only off putting thing about him that I found was when he thought of Iris's ass as "globes". I found it creepy, immediately made me put the book down for the day *bleh*. It was giving women written by men vibes. Honestly, Lauren Asher should know better being a woman herself. It's disgusting 😭😭 PDF / EPUB File Name: Terms_and_Conditions_Dreamland_Billionaires.pdf, Terms_and_Conditions_Dreamland_Billionaires.epub Always looking out for exciting new ideas to help inspire her next novel, she’s always taking inspiration from the world around her. Visiting numerous different restaurants in her spare time, she’s got an active imagination when it comes to creating different novels. Still writing to this day, she’s got a busy schedule with more books and series planned for release in the near future. the third act conflict was utterly superfluous! it seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever. i dare say, it felt a tad exaggerated. while i understand her right to be angry, the whole spectacle seemed a touch excessive, if you ask me.Lauren Asher did it again!! I absolutely LOVED this book so much!! Admittedly, I went into reading this book feeling a bit apprehensive because I did not really care for the MMC (Declan). I should have known that Asher would make me fall in love with Declan. The story has your fake marriage of convenience, grumpy/sunshine, boss/employee tropes filled with banter, tension, sizzling chemistry and groveling that will have you swooning!! Honestly, this book had everything I needed and more!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The tropes in this one were especially good too. Marriage of convenience, with fake dating, with forced proximity AND a grumpy/sunshine dynamic WITH banter? Yes. 👌🏾

also the friendship between iris and cal?!? i’m already in love with this man and his book isn’t even out yet. the way he slammed the door in declan’s face…yeh that’s true friendship right there. i just know lauren is saving the best for last with him. it’s always the funny ones that get the best story in a series 😌 Iris came up with the plan to be his wife in a spur of the moment decision. It was rushed but thought out. Marry Declan, have a baby and go separate ways. They even set clear rules that defined the relationship, making it clear that feelings were never meant to be apart of it. These rules were meant to protect them, but Declan became tempting and wanted to take it further. Falling in love was never meant to be an option…. So why does it feel like the relationship isn’t fake anymore? She looks down at her plate. “Turns out people stop inviting you places when all you do is say no.”BITCH WHAT never in my life have I felt this offended! Morally gray characters are fuming right, they didn’t do all of what they had to do, so this girl could come and insult them. THE AUDACITY. THE ONLY GRAY THING ABOUT ROBERTO IS THE ASH WHEN I BURN THIS BOOK DOWN.
