About this deal

Ep1 Tatooine scenes like Watto's shop, Skywalker home, podracer hall and tribune (though this could rather be a series of smaller-bigger playsets) The AT-ST Walker has appeared in a total of 6 sets through the years and our goal today is to compare them and see which one is the best LEGO AT-ST. Similar to the majority of UCS sets, it has no minifigures included which was another negative aspect of the price. However, if you have the chance to get this set without spending a fortune, I would strongly recommend getting it. It will be an incredible addition to your collection. The set would have been much better if there was a second driver included. After all, there are two operating the AT-STs in the movies and animated shows.

Now that the body is attached, we can finally get a sense of the final scale of this model. It stands 24.5 in tall (62 cm) and feels absolutely massive. At this point, it actually became a bit awkward to work on at my build desk, due to its height. V-Wing Fighter | 6206 TIE Interceptor | 6207 A-Wing Fighter | 6208 B-Wing Fighter | 6209 Slave I | 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge | 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer | 6212 X-wing Fighter | 10174 Ultimate Collector's AT-ST ( UCS) | 10175 Vader's TIE Advanced (UCS) In terms of playability, this set might or might not be suitable for you depending on your way of playing with LEGOs. If you want to move it around, then it will require some improvisation and imagination as the legs can’t move. However, if you like to recreate scenes from the movies, then this set will do great. The design of this set is overall great and the build is easy and stable. Unfortunately, the legs cannot do a walking movement but their design is really accurate to the movies. The minifigure included – an AT-ST pilot is overall great, it hasn’t got a very flashy design but it quite accurate to the movies once again. The AT-AT includes nine minifigures: Luke Skywalker, General Veers, two AT-AT pilots, one Snowtrooper Commander, and four Snowtroopers. It’s a good complement of characters, but you won’t find much new here. Most of the minifigure designs are shared with the 2020 version of the AT-AT. I think the related bullet point about the AT-ST being a 'lesser known' vehicle has the same problem, since I didn't know before reading the article that it differed from the one in Return of the Jedi. I wondered in what way an AT-ST in general was lesser known! Trade Federation Droid Controll Ship: now that they are producing giant sets like MF and ISD, it would worth making one - I don't believe any smaller would turn out to be good, especially if it has an interior Behind the troop bays, there’s a bay for Speeder bikes. Two are included in the set, though there’s room for four total in the AT-AT. It’s rumored that more Hoth-focused sets are on their way, so perhaps you’ll be able to give the AT-AT a full loadout soon.

This immense new LEGO model is massive in size and detail, paying homage to the gigantic vehicles in the film. It features 6,785 pieces, a movable head, spinning guns, adjustable legs, and side panels that open to reveal amazingly detailed interiors. According to the UCS Promotional Poster, this set retired in 2008, but it was not discontinued until 2009. Although the piece count is quite low for the original retail price it had, and the build is pretty simple and straightforward, the final result is one magnificent set that is also a great display piece. As every other AT-ST, it looks fragile but I can assure you that it will not break. Featuring sliding side doors which open to detailed interiors, a movable head, adjustable legs, movable/spinnable guns, speeder bikes, an E-Web cannon Now, let’s take a look at why this set was a disappointment to so many people. First of all, this price for 370 pieces is not good. Although LEGO has been increasing the prices continuously in the latest years, this particular set honestly feels like a total rip-off.

Invasion of Utapau: an updated Boga in a stable, while a well built "Hello there!" scenery could house a Trade Federation council with transport ship, Kenobi greeting Grievous in front of his army, the arriving clone army; with additional scenes of the battle outside (clone landing pad, speeders), Grievous's Starfighter's landing pad, and a search for Kenobi. Ohh, and it could house a unique shaped Commander Cody. Released on Triple Force Friday this new look AT-ST was featured in the TV Series The Mandalorian. This particular AT-ST was recovered from the remnant of the Empire by the Klatooninians. They drastically customised the AT-ST which is why it now sports brown leg and one red leg. It also has the Klatooinian clan symbols painted on the front.

Now let’s get the lower legs attached to the feet. They’re very similar to the upper legs, with a Technic frame clad in a plate and tile shell, with a large turntable gear at the top for the knee joint. The cladding at this stage is only partial, as the rest will get added once the legs are attached. Frustratingly, the instructions omit the important 4x callout at the beginning of this build (step 266), so you may not realize that you could be building all four legs in parallel until you reach the end of the booklet roughly 70 steps later and see the 4x at the end there.

Now let’s take a closer look at the legs, which hold the whole business up. The attachment points of the legs to the body is surprisingly strong, and doesn’t feel even remotely unstable. The droid also includes four articulated legs with multiple sensors around the head, suitably varying to assess different wavelengths of light, radiation and other variables. Moreover, this sinister droid is mounted on a trans-clear column, elevating it above the ground. Despite feeling unnecessary within this set, the Imperial Probe Droid is a highlight.

Kamino: Lama Su's office, Taun We leading Kenobi around, Jango's flat, cloning facilities of different stages (cloning, learning, taking helmets, balcony to see them lining up)The AT-AT isn’t just made for an accurate exterior, though. The interior is fully accessible. As we get the second floor on, the seating for troops is added. There’s seating for 40 troopers, an accurate count according to Star Wars reference materials, providing our first solid evidence that this AT-AT is properly minifigure scale. Although UCS sets were not a part of a separate line in 2006 yet, this set is considered a part of the UCS family. It was one of the first sets of this size released in the LEGO Star Wars theme. Comparing this creation with 75153 AT-ST Walker exemplifies those significant changes, which remain unexplained in Star Wars canon. While the vehicle from Return of the Jedi is certainly more beloved, the lighter version arguably appears more appropriate for a scout walker and measures 27cm in height, narrowly surpassing the 2016 model. The analysis goes like this. I.e. how well the 700+ dollars, euros, pounds are worth: 1) comparing to other lego sets, 2) comparing to other toys, 3) comparing to other things in life. The legs can be adjusted to a handful of angles, but you don’t want to press it too far, or else the model can’t withstand its own weight. The manual includes a small guide on how to lift and position the AT-AT.
