Cecily and Jeremy: actually seemed like boring characters in this book, but their book was pretty good compared to GOP AND GOM. This one is a standalone with all the steam. It's probably Rina's longest book and it's all worth it. I mean for me, any amount of words by rina are not enough, like I am always left wanting more and same was the case in this one! I want the next book so bad. I already have so many couples in my head, let's see which ones we get! Definitely recommending this one to all the high school dark romance loving people. It's full of triggers like non con, dub con, suicide talks and lot more so please keep that in mind as well. killian displayed it all from cutting up animals as a young child to fantasizing about murdering anyone that breathes near him 💅🏽 did i devour this book? yes. is this the worst book i’ve read this year? also yes. i tried to read this book last year but dnfd after chapter 3 bc of the forced SA. ultimately, i wanted to give this book another go and i wish i didn’t, bc it got so much worse. i fr lost all my brain cells reading this book!! if i had to read the word “neurotypical” and “cunt” one more time i was gonna lose it. This was so underwhelming and boring and RK out there bragging it's her longest book 🤣 (sorry hun, long =/= good).

i’m actually obsessed with the banter between killian and glyn. they had NO RIGHT being that funny, particularly killian though Being known as a psycho was something Killian was proud of. His mind worked differently. He always liked hunting. There was just something so amazing about watching your prey suffer after that long chase. That is until he stumbled upon the best prey ever at the cliff. Glyndon might just be the prettiest prey he ever had. She was everything he wanted and everything he wanted to break as well. His little bunny liked to run and he liked to chase. She said she hated him but he knew better. If only she knew the real reasons he had for chasing her. but boring? that is a plot twist i didn’t see coming. Rina Kent, as an author, is a lot of things but boring ain’t one... until now😅 they had the same conversations over and over. the same interactions. the same weird sex exchanges. Killian literally said the same handful of words over and over:
Despite the fact that this book didn't have the best plot, and Killian and Glen probably won't be my favorite couple, I still liked them. I'd say the enemies to lovers trope goes deep between Glyndon and Killian, but even that might be an understatement because Glyn could shout from every rooftop about how much she hated Killian. So... my previous review was extremely ugly, and I didn't even write immediately when I read this book because I was confused AF about whether I liked it or not, and I was mostly out of my mind too! Moreover, after reading Iqra's review, I felt provoked to write one as well! 🤌🏻

Just one book out and I probably have a billion couples in my head already, so much steam, so much chemistry. I mean it's tough for me to choose who to ship with whom 🤣 and what about Jonathan as a grandpa??!!! OMG. As you get closer to the end, walls are coming down a bit, and start seeing the slightest glimpse of softness that Killian has towards Glyn. Definitely not your traditional sweet stuff, but in his way, that's how he shows how much he cares for her.
