About this deal

I tried this recipe with some baking powder, and it does work and make it more fluffy, but personally I wanted a denser and more gooey cake. You can add in 1/2 tsp of baking powder, but its entirely optional. I used self raising flour as I preferred it to plain, and then thats enough raising agent for me. The measurements are a difficult thing I find because peoples versions of ‘one tablespoon’ can vary in weight SO VERY MUCH so I have put weights as well. 15g is typically a level tablespoon weight, so don’t do heaped.. it might not turn out as good! What I’ve come up with is an Easter egg brownie recipe that blends gooey brownies with bright, colourful & crunchy Mini Egg pieces. These brownies are a very pretty rendition of the classic, without being over the top. Basically, when this Mini Egg brownie recipe is being baked in your kitchen, it’s time for happy sighs. Why you’ll love these Easter Egg brownies To prevent a skin from forming on the top of your pudding, you must put a piece of plastic wrap directly over your pudding, so it is not exposed to air.

Seriously though, you’re probably so over mug cake recipes and you’re probably rolling your eyes at me right now but STOP! I promise you this isn’t like any other mug cake out there. I’ve tried a bunch of mug cakes and I hated them. Mini Eggs are one of the best things ever about Easter. I’m pretty sure I made that clear in my post earlier on in the week with my Easter chocolate cake, and I can’t even get over how true it is. Honestly, I can devour Mini Eggs for forever and a day, and not get bored! Makes me sad that its only part of the year they are available, but thats probably a good thing… This slow cooker fudge keeps well in the fridge, in an airtight container for a couple of weeks. The flavour matures over the first couple of days of it being in the fridge so you get the full flavour after it’s been in the fridge for a few days. Can you make this fudge in the microwave? Depending on your stove, you might need to use a diffuser ring for a gentler heat. You must not boil the mixture. If it gets too hot, the chocolate can seize and separate which will ruin the fudge. It ended up turning into a recipe development hour because the first batch came out horrible. Like, I threw it in the trash can and it was just one lumpy sponge thing.Pour into a mug. As it’s a microwave mug cake, make sure you are pouring the batter into a microwave-safe mug! Choose the right recipe. Use this one for a soft, fudgy style brownie, but look elsewhere if your ideal brownie is cake-like (you can still top them with the white chocolate and mini eggs.

If you end each day with a warm treat from the microwave, I can promise you life will become sweeter! Make this chocolate mug cake in the microwave in just minutes, and you print the recipe and permanently affix to your fridge. The recipe makes 2 mug cakes, but you can cut it in half to make just one. This Mug Cake Recipe is the perfect late night treat Actually, you could eat your pudding hot out of the microwave. However, it is just as delicious chilled, if you can wait for a little while before eating.Eggs: wondering why I’ve used 2 eggs and a couple of extra yolks in this recipe? That’s because the yolks help create that gooey and fudgy texture. All you have to do is whisk all dry ingredients together except sugar. No need for sifting this small batch. The ingredient list for this microwave chocolate cake is very simple. Everything you need for making the base will probably be there in your pantry right now.
