To be held at the Kensington Olympia, the stunning exhibition centre located in West London, Toy Fair gives us the chance to showcase our ever growing portfolio to customers new and old and we’ve got some exciting new products to be launched in 2014. The Toy Industry Association has recently compiled a report showing the latest toy trends for the year ahead. Amongst the remote controlled toys, zombies and inflatable toys, the TIA have predicted large-sized toys to be one of 2014 key toy trends to look out for. To see our new products, come visit us at the Kensington Olympia between Tuesday 21 stJanuary and Thursday the 23 rd(9am-6pm). Intelex will be one of the 1,100 exhibiting companies at one of the biggest events in the toy trade industry: the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) 111thAmerican International Toy Fair. With over 150,000 products on display from some of the leading names in the Toy Industry, the international Toy Fair is thetoy trade event.For those who remember, Bagpuss® was surely the most loved cat on television! Fondly remember in spite of the fact only thirteen episode were ever made, in 1999 Bagpuss® topped a BBC poll for the UK's favourite children's TV programme. Available in a luxurious plush design, Bagpuss® feels warm, cosy, and cuddly, and will evoke nostalgic memories of the 1970s among those old enough to remember. Our other Bagpuss ®designs include some stylish (and snug!) slippers and boots, that have proven very popular with both younger and older generations and will certainly make a popular gift for Christmas. The Warmies® themselves are something of a departure from Intelex’s previous ranges of plush toys. The Warmies® feature an unusual design. The blend of different fabrics, colours and textures give the products a quirky and lovable look and feel. Filled with treated millet, the Warmies® are fully heatable and gently scented with lavender.

The emphasis on large-sized toys can be seen in contrast to the micro trend that has been prevalent in the last few years.

Take Gromit™, of Wallace and Gromit™ fame. A fixture on the telly at Christmas year on year, Gromit™ is one of the stars of our licensed range, alongside his best mate Shaun the Sheep™. While you watch their adventures on the TV this Christmas, why not have them keep you warm as well? Everyone who we have introduced to Bunty have instantly fallen for him, and struggle to resist the urge to touch, squeeze or play with him. Designed in bright, modern and funky colours, these 8 adorable cute characters are brought to life. Our Hooty™ owl range was incredibly popular during 2013. The additions of Snowy Hooty™ and the pretty adorable Hooty™ Friends collection, along with the useful Hooty™ screen cleaners were all very well received by the trade. In 2014, we will be expanding our Hooty™range with a number of exciting products that you will be able to browse at our Toy Fair stand. I would recommend Bunty to others and believe that he would enjoy a cult following given the uniqueness, playful and practical nature of his design.
