About this deal

With the Pro pedals you can hinge the pedals from the top, rather than the bottom. This gives an even closer representation of a real road car. But this comes at an extra cost. The conical brake mod is where these pedals really come in to their own. The T3PA-Pro pedals come with two brake mods in fact. The first is the spring based brake mod from the T500RS pedals. This is OK, and effectively makes the brake pedal stiffer. The same applies with the Fanatec shifter, as with the handbrake. Simply use the compatibility method detailed above to utilise a Fanatec shifter with a Thrustmaster wheel. Again, this method works across PC, Xbox and PS5.

If you prefer, you can simply install one of these third party pedal plates to create a completely custom pedal setup. I don’t think this is what Thrustmaster were thinking about when deciding to let users remove the pedals. But it is a nice option to have. The more customization with almost any product is good! The TX (clamp) never shifted once during my testing, even on my cheap desk with its waxy wood finish. Unlike other pedals which utilize cheap load cells originally designed for use in a postal scale, the load cell in the LC3 upgrade kit is a medical-grade load cell designed to withstand much higher loads at faster response times. The load cell is designed to have an unlimited life cycle and the accompanying components are designed to be equally as robust. Yes, it will cost me a tad more, but i think they will probably upgrade the pedals a good bit, and i can get more money for them when i sell them, so little loss to upgrade the pedals Thrustmaster have been making the right steps towards the ultimate pedal set for a while. The base pedals you get with some Thrustmaster wheels come with only two pedals and are just not fit for sim racing. They also look like they should last a long time - my only slight concern is over the cable exit from the base of the unit - this could probably have done with a build in cable strain reducer, but it is easy to do something yourself.

If you fancy increasing or adjusting the brake pedal resistance, the T3PA kit does come with an optional brake mod. This brake mod (the conical rubber brake mod) features an industrial-grade high-density rubber cylinder. There are of course the T3PA Pro pedals, if you fancy another step up. The Pro pedal variant allow for even more customization by allowing you to invert the pedals. We found mounting the brake and throttle one step closer to each other. And adjusting the angle of both pedals, the best way for us to heel and toe accurately. We would confidently say that you will be able to drive better with these pedals compared to the two pedal set. The clutch pedal allows the introduction of heel and toe braking and downshifting. And the brake mod allows you to have much better control over your overall braking technique. Drifting around corners feels realistic as I let the wheel slip through my hands when the car regains its grip. The experience is powerful and unbelievably smooth, justifying its asking price and immediately selling me on the belt mechanic. Considering the size of the servo, it sounds relatively quiet during gameplay, except for some built-in cooling fans powering up during intense moments. Not only do these pedals include that illusive clutch pedal. But the brake mod is possibly the most impactful part of these pedals. By installing the brake mod, you completely transform how these pedals feel, and really increase the overall immersion. In theory, these T3PA-Pro pedals are the perfect almagamtion of the best braking technology and product design. We’ve been testing these pedals for a while now with our T500 RS. And we’ve written this review to help you decide whether it is worth you buying these T3PA-Pro pedals Having dealt with racing wheels slipping during intense racing sessions, I'm delighted to say that the TX never shifted once during my testing, even on my cheap desk with its waxy finish. This introduces progressive braking, and can be configured in a range of configurations to adjust the progression rate. The conical brake mod can add up to 70 pounds of extra resistance in to your brake pedal.

The Best F1 23 Racing Wheels View the very best racing wheels for F1 23 on Xbox, PC & PS5. View the best wheels These pro pedals bring a lot to the table. They combine elements from other Thrustmaster pedals to create the best Thrustmaster pedal set to date. The option to choose between two sets of brake mod and the customization of the pedal layout make for one of the most versatile pedal sets on the market. The Basherboards CPX Adapter V2 is compatible with the following sim racing devices, allowing you to combine any of the following; The included instruction manual clearly explains the setup, describing every step plainly, and demonstrating the potential hazards with a base as powerful as this. There is some serious strength behind this dual-belt mechanism, and a steel wheel is nothing to get your fingers tangled in when it fires up for calibration or reacts to an intense in-game crash. Moving through the steps, the TX seems to steer its appeal to enthusiasts more than a hesitant newcomer, but I'm optimistic that practically anyone could set it up without issue. The T500RS had a spring based brake pedal, which allowed you to stiffen the brake pedal by installing a spring mod.
