David Crist has laboured hard to re-create an account of the secret, low-level conflict which has been conducted in the shadows by both the United States and Iran since the fall of the Shah. There's still much animosity and bad blood between both nations. I first noticed the excellent map at the front of the book. This story doesn’t start off as well as the first book, but nonetheless we find a trio of poor friends in a freezing hellscape.
