Copper fishing is a popular technique used in angling. It involves using copper line, which has a sink rate and flexibility that makes it suitable for deepwater fishing. Experience level is increased immediately upon harvesting a Crab Pot or catching an item with a fishing pole, but the "level up" window doesn't appear until after going to sleep.
