About this deal

Due to this, the Ender 2 Pro can print PLA and PETG, but is not capable of printing ABS, which requires a 100C bed temperature. The Ender 3 is capable of printing ABS, however you will want to use an enclosure with ABS to prevent warping.

The glass print bed of the Ender 3 V2 is not flexible but offers excellent print bed adhesion for most materials. Along with great features, the K1 represents Creality's relentless commitment to creators, constantly pushing the boundaries. It embodies a relentless pursuit of excellence, providing more than just a printer, but the key to innovation and limitless creativity.

But the K1 is not just about speed, it is also a real revolution in terms of functionality and versatility. Its spacious build space of 220x220x250 gives you plenty of room to create, allowing you to bring your boldest ideas to life. Whether it's a sophisticated architectural model or a functional prototype, the K1 handles complexity with ease and delivers exceptional precision with every print. If you want to learn more about what to expect with a budget 3D printer, take a look at our article on budget 3D printers for a more detailed analysis. Choosing The Best Budget 3D Printer The two 3D printers differ only slightly in terms of printing speed. Because of the free-swinging X-axis, the printing speed (and the movement speed itself) should not be too high to avoid vibrations. Therefore, the printing speed is slightly lower than that of the Ender 3 V2. What does it improve: Traps heat around the printer and keep air drafts out, enabling high-quality prints in ABS, ASA, and other temperature-sensitive filament materials. The heat-up times of the two 3D printers are very comparable. Both 3D printers reach the standard temperatures for PLA (200 °C for the nozzle and 60 °C for the print bed) within two to three minutes.

This model from Jukka Seppanen is also one of the excellent looking prints made by the Ender 2 Pro. The silky look of this filament hides the small inconsistencies on some section of the print, but it’s still one of the best I did on this printer. The flexible and magnetic print bed of the Ender 2 Pro can be removed from the printing plate after printing. This way you can easily detach your print objects from the print bed. In this article, you will find the perfect settings for the Ender 3 V2: Best Cura Settings for the Ender 3 – Guide & List Print Quality While Creality implemented many Ender 3 upgrades into the design of the Ender 2 Pro, the printer still features a plastic extruder assembly. Plastic extruders are known to wear down significantly after a few months of printing, and this can cause issues to arise around the printer’s extrusion. You can replace the original plastic assembly with a metal extruder that won’t degrade as easily to provide more reliable extrusion for the Ender 2 Pro. The printer comes with Marlin 2.0.6.3 but a lot of firmware features are not enabled. For example, the assisted corner leveling feature is not enabled and I’m not sure why. This feature would allow users to automatically move the print head to each of the corners for easier bed leveling.

Parts needed: Purchasable enclosure or DIY enclosure, including panels, hinges, screws, and other hardware. The assembly of the Ender 2 Pro is easier than that of the Ender 3 V2. Since the Ender 2 Pro is already mostly pre-assembled, you only need to connect a few parts, plug in the cables and mount the display. With the Ender 3 V2, you need a few more steps because the 3D printer is only partially pre-assembled. SLICER: The two most commonly used slicers for the Ender 2 Pro and the Ender 3 V2 are the Creality Slicer and Cura. There is little difference between the two slicers. The Creality Slicer is based on Cura. Cura is usually a bit more up-to-date in terms of features, but the Creality Slicer sometimes has better default profiles. Both the Ender 2 Pro and the Ender 3 V2 use manual print bed leveling. This means that you use a normal piece of paper to adjust the distance between the nozzle and the print bed. No vibrations should occur during the movements of the print head, so that ringing or ghosting cannot occur. As a result, 3D printers often have sophisticated designs to make the movements as smooth as possible.
