Festival of the Lost 2023 starts next Tuesday, October 17, 2023, and will be available to all players for free until October 31, 2023. During Festival of the Lost, Eva Levante offers players special rewards to show off the spirit of the Season. The Masquerader's Helmet, which is required to equip masks, only contributes to players' Power while Festival of the Lost is active. Additionally, completing Haunted Sectors has a chance to drop Eerie Engrams. Guardians will be able to open these engrams for a variety of rewards, or can choose to focus decrypt them for exotic armor and specific Festival weapons. As for what you’ll get from completing Legendary Haunted Sectors, you’ll have a higher chance of earning premium loot from the end chest. This means you’ll have a better chance of obtaining any of the four Festival of the Lost weapons or the very important Eerie Engrams, which we’ll discuss shortly. Essentially, Legendary difficulty is a more difficult playlist which skilled players can run if they want more chances at the event rewards. Artisans, focusing on one specified task each, form a harmonious production line of collaborative effort and the streets are pervaded with variations of all seven traditional Tanabata decorations. What do I wear to a Star Festival? Once new players have met the above requirements, they can speak to Eva Levante in the Tower Courtyard to receive a quest. After this quest has been completed, players will be granted access to explore Haunted Sectors and can earn Festival of the Lost rewards.
Festival of the Lost is a free yearly event that is open to all players. Originally launched with Forsaken, Festival of the Lost continues to evolve, featuring more and better activities and mechanics each year. This time around, expect Haunted Lost Sectors to return. New for Festival of the Lost 2023 is a more difficult version of Haunted Sectors called Legendary Haunted Sectors. These Lost Sectors raise the difficulty considerably, going from 1600 Light to 1830 Light, matching the danger levels of normal Legendary Lost Sectors. While the objectives remain the same, the challenge is significantly increased with some Lost Sectors (such as the Nessus one) even adding Champions to their roster. Starting with the more traditional and easier variant of the Festival activities, normal Haunted Lost Sectors can be entered via the Node in the Tower map. This is the third year in a row where Guardians have battled against the Headless Ones and, if you’ve participated in any previous Festivals over the last few years, this will all seem very familiar to you. Haunted Sectors are, as the name suggests, remixed versions of select Lost Sectors which have been given a creepy makeover to match the Halloween season. A paper kimono, Kamigoromo emblematises the ancient skill of Sewing which is rooted in Japanese culture.
