Microphone: choose the same as the system, at this time the microphone is input from the computer, not from the headphones mic. when my glitchy earbuds inevitably made me mad enough to get something new, i got these after watching some youtube vids that recommended them. im very glad i did!! Anker Soundcore Life Q20 were an upgrade of Anker SoundCore Life 2 Wireless which was itself a descent wireless headphone.

Anker Life Q20 had traditional micro USB charging port as against that Anker Life Q20 + now comes with USB-C charging port. ANC is good. I don't really use ANC on things unless travelling or I have a headache/migraine, so it's not a high priority for me, so I was pleasantly surprised these came with it for their price. However I do notice the difference when it's turned on. I just mainly leave mine off to conserve battery life.Battery-wise, I am getting pretty close to advertised spec, but I have noticed that if you crank up the volume on your phone or player, then crank up the volume on the headphones, the battery life suffers dramatically. Play with it a bit, adjusting device volume and then headphone volume until you get good sound without noise. These came 80% charged and only took a few mins to get to full 100%, so I imagine charging from a lower % will not take long. But the battery appears to be really good. I'm assuming that's provided you keep the volume low (which you don't NEED to have things really high with these, they're that good). I don't usually have or need volume high on most things, so I expect my battery to last for some time. Time will tell with this one (as I only just got these yesterday), so I may update my review in a few months with an edit. Sound quality. Seems perfectly balanced and as others have said already bassy, so no need to actually turn on the boost. Frequent travelers will like the fact that the headphones have rotatable ear cups and can fold up for storage and travel. To be fair, I only need about 12 hours of battery life and I'll just recharge them. However, the advertised battery life is estimated at 40 hours with ANR and 60 hours without. My experience is that with ANR I get about 22-24 hours, and without I get about 48. Now, I have not had these very long, so I've only timed my first recharges, so if it turns out the battery life goes up with proper use, I'll add the 5th star. Let’s talk about the most important features first: Battery life is rated for 30 hours with ANC on and up to 60 hours with ANC off - and we had no problem hitting the rated 30 hours with ANC on during our testing.
