I have always accepted that no Empire has been formed without a certain level of violence and even atrocity. Similarly no empire was inherently pure evil. Historically speaking there have always been countries who have been ‘conquered’ who have benefitted from being part of an empire. I don’t think any of that can really be disputed. We didn't win ugly though. We almost bottled an easy game against a poor Forest side because we aren't ruthless enough. Winning ugly is something we did last season away against Newcastle. This was just a lazy performance from the team and performances like this will get punished like last season. It's been a while since the first game I watched, in the Bridgford End with my dad, Flip le Flem scored. Comfortable win. It was too easy and they get one counter and score. But they never threatened us after that. Forest brought in every tall player they could fin in the end lol

The win is all that matters. Credit to Forest for turning that into a battle, dragging us down a level and not giving up. We perhaps should have coped better but it’s been a busy period. But. To suggest that we should get extra points for not trying to take over Europe is absolutely insane. Are non-European countries that we conquered somehow worth less? Do our actions in those countries not count?There is a lot to blame to go around but really thought the keeper should have done something besides falling down I usually fear the opposition getting a mad flukey goal but, weirdly, I can feel more coming our way. defensive minded players on the pitch, Gallagher and Enzo included in that as theyre not exactly goal scorers or assist machines. What does Poch expect? This is against Forest at home! They bestest team in the whole wide world struggled against Forest at home.. How are the excitable media going to spin this one.?

Spurs are playing better since getting rid of Conte and Kane, yet we still can't score a single goal vs Notts Forest after spending 1B. You can't f**king make it up. All this money has been spent to not score goals ffs. Again, credit to Forest for making things though and digging in.
