One tempting feature that you're likely to appreciate if you choose the Champion 40 is the seamless transition between sound channels when utilized with a pedal switch. This is a significant improvement over the Champion 20, which is still a wonderful amp but doesn't work as well with a foot switch. Speaking of channels, if you want a clean tone when playing guitar, this amp should be at the top of your list! The controls are high quality though and it sounds nice with all the guitars we have. Honestly, for its price it is not just decent, but great. Moreover, if you are a beginner this is perfect, because there are not a lot of buttons unneeded, so making your setup should not be hard. However, if you are pro, you should consider saving up more money and buying something with more features, unless you already have a full pedalboard.
