About this deal

Designed for comfort through periods of extended use, the Pioneer DJ HDJ-X10 headphones are great for people who will be spending several hours in action. The lower frequencies get a lot more attention here, making it easier to pinpoint specific beats when you’re mixing. The polyurethane leather ear pads and headband cushion are resistant to deterioration thanks to the use of nano coating 2, so you can easily wipe off sweat and dirt.

The sound stage makes the modulation in things like electronic music feel much wider than it would with similar headphones in the range. The independent ground wire in the 4-core twisted-structure cable gives superior left and right channel separation, improving sound quality. In addition, the HDJ-X10 model features a highly reliable, detachable mini-XLR connector for outstanding sound quality. These DJ headphones are extremely durable and well-made, with special nano-coating on the earpads that make them easy to clean and sweat-resistant. Let’s take a closer look at what you can accomplish with these headphones. Are the Pioneer DJ HDJ-X10 DJ headphones any good? (in short)The Pioneer DJ HDJ-X10 headphones are lightweight, but not so much that they feel cheap or flimsy. These headphones are predominantly made with plastic, with an ear cup and headphone design that evolves from the previous HDJ-2000MK2. Pioneer DJ HDJ-X headphones feature are beautifully well-made, with a flexible headband and earcups that swivel to suit your needs when you’re mixing and playing. Built with 50mm HD drivers, the HD-X10 was the worlds first DJ headphone to r eproduce high-resolution sound from 5 Hz to 40 kHz (V-Moda Crossfader M-100 Master also now feature high resolution audio). The 32 Ω impedance allows the phone to be easily driven by a phone, laptop or DJ mixer, easily reaching 102dB of volume at its peak. However despite its loud volume, the X10 remains incredibly balanced with just a slight boost the lows and highs. However, it’s easy to get used to the new fit of the HDJ-X when you consider just how comfortable they are.

Sound quality is often the first thing that DJs think about when buying a new set of headphones. However, you won’t be able to get the most out of your investment if you can’t bear to wear your new cans. Although it’s hard to say for certain that they can persevere through anything without months of experimentation – they seem durable.

Should you get the Pioneer DJ HDJ-X10 for DJing?

V-Moda M-100 Master– Also featuring great build quality and HD driver, these superb headphones have been tuned to sound more lively than the X10. Once you’re sure that your new headphones are durable and comfortable to wear, you need to ensure that they’re going to sound great. If you loved the sound of the previous HDJ-2000MK2s, then you’re in for a treat here. When I pull the HDJ-X10 headphones out of the box I notice right away the durable carrying case. It feels like it could survive being thrown around in a tour bus or van and I’m immediately impressed with it. As I open the case, I get my first sighting of the HDJ-X10 headphones. They have a utilitarian look but incorporate textural details on the earcup, giving it an intentionally mechanical feel. I like the look overall.
