About this deal

Prosecco is a white sparkling wine that is produced from a variety of grape called Glera in the regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy. It is named after the small village of Prosecco. Only sparkling wines from this region using at least 85 percent of this grape can be called prosecco. Prosecco's flavor is generally a light-bodied and crisp and ranges in sweetness depending on the brand. The general rule for sweetness is if the bottle is labeled "brut" it will have the least amount of sweetness while bottles labeled "dry" and "extra-dry" will be a bit sweeter. The bubbles come from a second fermentation that’s carried out inside the bottle. The carbon dioxide formed can’t escape, so it dissolves into the wine – which is why, when the bottle is opened, the wine sparkles.

Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG is an appellation in Treviso, Italy, renowned for producing premium wines with intense flavors.
