I’ve used this color on a few different projects across my home and most recently when I wrote up my instructions for how to paint mason jars. I’ve been chalk painting furniture for several years now and I can’t believe I haven’t written this review sooner! Rust-Oleum Chalked Paint, a chalk style paint, has been my go-to for many projects just because of it’s affordability and availability. In the furniture painting world there are lots of opinions about the best paints and painting techniques. All of this advice and caution can make chalk painting feel overwhelming! But it really doesn’t have to be that way.

To do this, simply decant some paint into a clean tray and add a splash of water. Give it a little mix and then apply to furniture.
