About this deal

The Creatista Pro has a full digital touchscreen display which means you do not need to control the machine with buttons anymore. This feature will make it easier for most people to program and customize specialty drinks. You can also rename customized drinks which will make it easier to navigate the next time you brew a coffee. Who Is The Nespresso Creatista Pro For? Noisy Operation: Some users have reported that certain SAGE coffee machines can be a bit noisy during operation, which might be a concern for those seeking a quieter brewing experience. The Nespresso Creatista Pro is an upgrade to the Creatista Plus which means there are a few key functions that make the Pro better than the Plus. The biggest difference between the Creatista Pro and Creatista Plus is that you are able to save customized beverages with the Pro. There are dozens of coffee capsule machines on the market, and although I’m sure each one has its own merits, it’s rare to find a coffee maker that combines ease of use, elegant design and reliable performance all into one machine. Sage has handily accomplished this feat with the Nespresso Creatista Plus, so if you’re in the market for a high quality premium coffee maker, be sure to put this one on your short list. Where to buy? I'd say the milk frother is the part of this machine that impressed me the most. It's by far the cleverest of its kind I've ever used and requires essentially no hands-on work from you.

At this price point, you might expect some form of automation when loading a Nespresso capsule but in fact it’s just a flip-up lever like that fitted to pretty much every other Nespresso machine on the market. To use, simply drop in a capsule, pull down the lever and it’s ready to go. When you lift the lever, the used pod is ejected into the admittedly smallish catchment drawer below. A large removable two-litre water tank sits at the rear. The Sage Nespresso Creatista Uno is the entry-level product in the Creatista line. This means that it’s the cheapest out of the three but still does an excellent job at brewing beverages: DesignSage is at the top of the market when it comes to kitchen appliances. As a result, its coffee machines are considered to be the best in the market, as they are the perfect appliance to make a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately your average home barista doesn’t have that long to wait in the morning so Sage developed a 3 second heat up time to optimum temperature so you can pretty much turn on and go. When almost every other aspect of the Creatista Uno exhibits such design finesse, it is mildly irksome that you can’t just fling its various component parts into the dishwasher. Sadly, the only part that can go in is the jug, which leaves you to manually rinse the used capsule bin, grid and drip tray. As daily coffee machine maintenance goes, it’s by no means onerous – but it’s not the zero maintenance machine you might have wished for. In terms of dimensions, the Creatista Plus has a width of 168 millimeters, a depth of 414 millimeters, and a height of 310 millimeters, making it suitable for countertop placement. The water tank has a generous capacity of 1.5 liters to ensure multiple servings without the need for constant refilling. The machine can also store up to 12 used coffee capsules, reducing the need for immediate disposal. However, if descaling doesn’t help solve the issue, you may simply be overfilling the coffee machine

The ability of your coffee machine to pump water through it to make coffee may be hampered by hard water build-up. If you’re selecting a milk-based coffee, then fill the supplied aluminium jug with milk to the minimum or maximum level, place it under the steaming wand while making sure to position the jug over the little plastic sensor, which slightly resembles a nipple. Now select your preferred milky mixture – cappuccino, flat white, latte or latte macchiato – and the machine will start operating at both ends, extracting the coffee while the wand does its swooshy frothing thing. When finished, simply pour the hot, frothy milk from the jug into your coffee cup and, well, that’s it.In such a situation, the first step is to test the conductivity of the heating element and replace it if there is no current. In terms of milk frothing, the Creatista Pro uses its advanced microfoam technology to produce the best milk quality out of the Creatista line. It has the same amount of milk texture and milk temperature settings as the Creatista Plus but has up to 7 brewing sizes. Ease of Use On the plus side, cleaning is minimal in every other way – an alert LED lets you know when to descale it, plus there are those aforementioned instructions on the water tank. There’s also a handy ‘full’ indicator on the drip tray, so you can empty it before it becomes a challenge to carry it to the sink. The Nespresso Creatista Uno does not come with a digital display but has 6 buttons that are used to control all of its functionality. It is fairly simple to use and some people say they prefer the buttons over a knob on the Creatista Plus. Who Is The Nespresso Creatista Uno For? It couldn’t be easier to use. Place the supplied stainless-steel milk jug on the drip tray with the wand in place, fill it with milk, select how hot and frothy you’d like the milk to be from the buttons on the top. The Creatista Uno does the rest. Once done, you can pour as much or as little as you want, and the perfect microfoam means that you’re free to make cappuccinos and lattes as you prefer them, or try your hand at creating latte art. While this functionality takes its lead from the original Creatista machine, a simple selection of buttons makes it easier to use.

Maintenance: Like any coffee machine, SAGE models require regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, which could be seen as an inconvenience for some users. In this case, using the milk frother worked so well for creating the cappuccino. If you're currently spending a small fortune at your favourite coffee shop because milk-based hot drinks are too faff-prone or time-consuming to do at home, then this is the machine to take the guesswork out of the process for you.
