Although Sennheiser has not officially announced any information on a Momentum True Wireless 4 as of 2023, it’s reasonable to speculate its arrival. This isn’t to say that the Sennheiser headphones underwhelm – they’re strong when dealing with crowd noise, hushing voices, as well as handling traffic on a busy day in central London just fine. They impress in a variety of environments. But whether listening in their ANC or Adaptive modes, the Bose and the Sony deliver a quieter performance; there remains a degree of ambient noise that I can hear through the Sennheisers. cough... … You serious?! The Momentum 4 Wireless has literally 4 times the battery life of the Momentum 3! While this never posed an issue for me as my use case was pretty static, my daily bus commute, I can see this being an issue for those who use the Momentum 3 for the entirety of their day such as office workers or students, not to mention those who travel. Besides the increased battery life, the Momentum 4 Wireless also charges quite a bit faster (charge level vs playtime) as well. Multipoint connects two devices at the same time, such as your phone for music and your laptop for video calls, and works extremely well. They come with a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm analogue headphones cable and can play audio over USB-C at the same time as charging, similar to the B&W PX7, giving you plenty of connectivity options.
