About this deal

This is currently the only book in the Captain Underpants saga without an example of alliteration in the title, whereas a large group of words begins with the same letter, not counting the first one. In 2020, ten Dog Man books (including one Cat Kid Comic Club, a spin-off) sold a total of over 3.8 million copies, 13% of the total comic book sales, as charted by BookScan. This does not include digital copies or any copy sold by Scholastic through school book fairs. [8] There are 25 words in the title, as well as 167 characters (including spaces), this means it's the longest title in the whole series. Since George and Harold were sentenced to lunchtime in the principal’s office, they’re the only kids who don’t eat the cafeteria food and become zombie nerds. They tell Mr. Krupp what’s happened, but the principal has been duped by them too many times and doesn’t believe them. George and Harold battle the three aliens with kitchen utensils, but the aliens call in their army of zombie nerds. George and Harold know this is a job for Captain Underpants, and they snap their fingers to send him into action.

"Here's A Look Inside The New "Captain Underpants" Spin-Off Story". BuzzFeed . Retrieved December 20, 2016. One dark, clear night in Piqua, Ohio, a flaming object was seen streaking across the quiet midnight sky. It shone brightly for a few seconds and then fizzled out just above Jerome Horwitz Elementary School without anyone giving it a second thought. The next day, everything seemed pretty normal, as none of the students or staff paid any attention to the roof or asked about the spaceship on top. Inside of the spaceship were three of the evilest, hideous, and merciless spacemen every to set foot on the roof of a small Midwestern elementary school, named Zorx, Klax, and Jennifer. Their mission is to take over planet Earth, which they discuss by infiltrating the school and turning the children and teachers into large, super-powered evil zombie nerds. Jennifer tells her two teammates to wait until it is narratively convenient for their plan to work, and in the meantime, they will watch their every move on their trinocloscope.

I like this book because it's really funny and I like when Captain Underpants changes from Mr. Krupp into Captain Underpants. ~Alexa, 8 yrs old Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 2: The Revenge of the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers (2003) Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds) (1999) a b Captain Underpants and the Revolting Revenge of the Radioactive Robo-Boxers. Scholastic. January 2013. ISBN 978-0545175364. My favorite part is when Captain Underpants defeats the evil Dandelion of doom. ~Keemari, 9 yrs old

In college, Dav met a teacher who encouraged him to illustrate and write. He won a national competition in 1986 and the prize was the publication of his first book, World War Won. He made many other books before being awarded the 1998 California Young Reader Medal for Dog Breath, which was published in 1994, and in 1997 he won the Caldecott Honor for The Paperboy. These books were reported "coming soon-ish" at the end of the books. No further information or cancellation has been released since their tease. Miss Singerbrains – Miss Singerbrains is the librarian at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School who banned all but one of the books in the library and eventually closed down the library. Her name is a pun on saying she is "missing her brains." Donny Shoemeyer's invention is called the Ping-Pong Serve-o-Matic as shown on the label on the machine. However, the sentences in the book call it the Electric Ping-Pong Ball Server. Mr. Kenny Brian Meaner – Mr. Meaner is Jerome Horwitz Elementary School's gym teacher. He is depicted as being an overweight man and with a personality similar to Mr. Krupp's. Like him, he is very cruel to students and often yells at them. He appears in the series, where he is depicted as being incredibly ignorant and talks in a stutter by saying "yeah yeah yeah yeah." In book 12, Meaner becomes Sir Stinks-A-Lot. His name is a pun on the word "misdemeanor" or the saying "can he be meaner." Voiced by David Koechner in the TV series. In the TV series, he has an alternate ego by the name of Sargeant Boxers, which was made as a replacement for Captain Underpants in the first episode of the second season.Zorx, Klax, and Jennifer – Three space aliens who planned to invade Piqua, Ohio. They are the main antagonists of the third book. They disguised themselves as lunch ladies to turn the students of Jerome Horwitz Elementary School into Zombie Nerds by using Evil Zombie Nerd Juice. In this third book (intimidatingly titled “Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds)” ) finally brings Harold and George, creators of both the comic and real Captain Underpants and major prankster, into full hero roles as one of their pranks (a sciency one!) leads to them being the only students not turned into evil zombie nerds by alien invaders. So they and their principal, Mr. Krupp as his heroic alter ego, Captain Underpants, must save the world, and the school, from total destruction. The next day, George and Harold bring their lunches to Mr. Krupp's office for lunch as per what Mr. Krupp told them. After Mr. Krupp is disgusted by the food that George and Harold are eating, which consists of weird sandwiches and chips with whipped cream, he leaves for some fresh air. George and Harold decide to go change the lunch menu while he is out. When they arrive at the sign, they see someone else has already altered the menu. They then see that the students and staff have been turned into Zombie Nerds. George and Harold then sneak into the kitchen and discover the cafeteria ladies are really aliens who have just fed Evil Zombie Nerd Milkshakes to the students and staff which is why almost everyone in the school has turned into a zombie nerd. George and Harold learn of the spacemen's plans to feed super evil rapid growth juice to the zombie nerds tomorrow to make them huge and evil, so that way it would be easier to conquer Earth. George and Harold steal the growth juice and try to get rid of it by pouring it out the window, but they unintentionally pour it on a dandelion. Mr. Krupp punishes George and Harold by making them fill chalkboards with the sentence "I will never do anything which angers my handsome and charming principal, Mr. Krupp, ever, ever again." George and Harold later get revenge when they are made Principals for a Day, and they punish many teachers (and Melvin for his tattling) to write the following sentences on chalkboards: Now our daughter loves reading—anything--so getting her engaged isn't as hard. She, too, loves these books for their high giggle factor.
