The Darkest Minds sequel could draw from these books and explore the wider world of the series. The movie adaptation of the first book made some changes to the story, so it remains to be seen how closely the sequel will follow the source material. At the end of The Darkest Minds (2018), our favourite characters have split up and are in disarray. Chubs is in the hospital and Zu leaves with a protective family. Then Ruby erases herself from Liam’s memories and joins the Children’s League as a soldier. Except not really because I'm not Emma Watson and look nothing like her. Maybe if you made her shorter and more angsty... I am really hyped for the third book and I can't wait to find out what goes wrong next, who dies, who survives and how the political situation changes. This series developed to be one of my favorites and I'm so really glad I've discovered it!

Meanwhile, reunited with Liam, the boy she would—and did—sacrifice everything for to keep alive, Ruby must face the painful repercussions of having tampered with his memories of her.So as of now, no announcement is made about what should be taken for the 2nd part of show but we all are expecting that the story will all be based on the second novel that is Never Fade to continue The Darkest Minds series with the returning cast members of orange eyed Ruby who controls people’s minds. you all will be definitely inform you about the exact plot that will come. The relationship between Liam and Ruby was frustrating and I wish they could talk about everything and catch up with each other. But there isn't time for that but I am hoping they will talk and catch up with each other in the next book. It was frustrating to see their pain, UGH THE FEELS!!! Cole was just perfect! I love Liam's brother. It was nice getting to know him better and like Liam, it was impossible not to like the guy. Also, Cole is a freaking RED!! I should have guessed this. I mean all the clues were there but I was completely surprised! I can't wait for more Cole :D Vida is bloody fantastic, her personality alone made this book that much better. She is witty, sarcastic as hell, inappropriate and almost everything that comes out of her mouth is offensive in one way or another, she's also very guarded and doesn't show her emotions easily. Vida is "positively the whipped cream on the sundae of life." Just ask Liam :D
As I mentioned in my review of the In Time novella, Alexandra’s prose is very engaging. She has a way with words! She’s also a pro at characterization. All of the characters felt so real. Actually, I kinda wish they were, so we could be friends in real life. I loved the characters just as much as I did in The Darkest Minds! Ruby! Liam! CHUBS! I love Chubs. I love him so much. He’s definitely my favorite character of this series!
Something that gets her sent to Thurmond, a brutal government “rehabilitation camp.” She might have survived the mysterious disease that’s killed most of America’s children, but she and the others have emerged with something far worse: frightening abilities they cannot control. We can expect Jennifer Yuh Nelson to be on board as the director of the movie. But nothing is certain. It is also possible that Chad Hodge might return as the scriptwriter.
