A flexible Wave Generator mode makes NTS-2 much more than an oscilloscope. It has two oscillators with dedicated outputs. Each oscillator can create a variety of waveforms – sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, pulse, and noise – whose shape and phase can be adjusted to suit many applications. Display modes: Single, Stereo (Input1L-INPUT1R, Input1L - Input2L, Input2L - Input2R), 4ch?XY(Lissajous, 2ch) The Nu:Tekt NTS-2 is a DIY “Swiss army knife” for musicians. The J-6 Chord Synthesizer is arguably a more curious proposition - it blends a Juno-60 synth engine (presumably the same one as you’ll find in the Boutique JU-60a) with a chord sequencer. 100 chord sets are included, with each enabling you to trigger chords and create progressions using the built-in keyboard. You can also dial in variations (arpeggios and guitar-style playing, for example). Of course, you could just use the J-6 as a synth though beyond choosing the sound itself, editing is limited to filter and envelope controls. NTS-2 is an oscilloscope, tuner, FFT and spectrum analyser that is accurate, intuitive, and incredibly useful. It comes in kit form and can be easily built with no soldering, usually taking no more than 10 minutes! NTS-2 can be easily connected into your synth rig using the dual stereo IN, dual stereo THRU/OUT, and two separate OUTPUTs – then you can use its dual waveform generators to give yourself an extra pair of oscillators or LFOs!
