Terracotta pots and other surfaces may need a good sanding / wire-brushing as they are often treated or glazed to protect them from rain and frost damage. These treatments will reduce adhesion of the paint to the surface. Make good any holes or minor imperfections with Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler or Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Filler

Interior woodcare

For best results, prime all wooden surfaces with Ronseal All Surface Primer and Undercoat - Exterior before applying Ronseal Garden Paint. Preparing Terracotta Unfinished softwoods can be painted straight away as long as they do not have a previous wax, oil or silicone finish
