About this deal

Now, to focus on the area where the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is tuned to perform at its best: PC gaming, especially at popular resolutions like 1080p, where the CPU comes to the fore in some titles. According to my measurements, the Wraith Max has the same design structure as the original Wraith Cooler. The Wraith Max is using a Cooler Master fan with a model number of FD09225M12LPD and it's rated at 0.5A.

which comes with the Ryzen 5 1500X, 1600 and Ryzen 7 1700, and finally, we have the top-of-the-line Wraith Max (140W TDP) which is included with the Ryzen 7 1700X and 1800X. In CPU-Z benchmark, the Ryzen 7 5800X is +22% faster in single thread and up to +70% faster in the multi-threaded test: When compared to other coolers, the Wraith Stealth cooler isn't too loud. It's not the quietest option out there, but it won't be too annoying when you're using your computer or playing games. Summary: I tested the sound levels with an app on my s10 (I know this isn't the most scientific test) and it was reading between 45 - 55db about 2 inches away from the fan and about 25DB when resting about 2 feet away infront of my keyboard. I had it away from the stream of air and made sure my room was silent during testing. This seems unnaturally loud considering the measurements I had read were around 42dB. Thankfully, most, if not all, CPU cooler manufactures will send you a free AM4 upgrade kit which will allow you to use your existing cooler on AM4 motherboards.I just recently upgraded from a i5-4460 to a R5 3600 and wow..... What a huge difference. I am very very happy I made the switch to AMD. An important benchmarking-results and performance note: This is a different testbed than we used with other Ryzens we've reviewed to date, as AMD points out that the Ryzen 5 5600G and the Ryzen 7 5700G are compatible with only these four motherboards at the time of launch: When building a system, and especially one designed for multiplayer gaming, having the option to save on a GPU and instead put that money into a faster monitor could mean the difference between Gold and Diamond ranks next season (or between 60Hz and 240Hz, depending on the monitor model). At 1080p, the Ryzen 5 5600G was just about able to hit the 165Hz/165fps threshold in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a mark that could easily be exceeded with just one or two more in-game settings turned down. For Ryzen 5 2600 owners it will net you Wraith Prism-like performance when gaming though it's worth noting that the 120mm fan does a much better job of cooling the VRM on our X470 board. The Gammaxx 200T also appears to be a decent upgrade option for R5 2600X and R7 2700 owners. I did a thread on it ( wraith stealth cooling fan noise ) however they described it as a "quiet moaning" which isn't what I am experiencing.

or the second option is you can use a different cable to connect it to the USB_5 header. With the first option, you can sync the light effects with the other RGB LED regions of the motherboard. Test Setup & Methodology Test Setup The more expensive Ryzen 7 2700X is the only model to come with the fancy looking Wraith Prism and it's the only 105 watt TDP part, so it does call for a beefier cooler, this model weighs in at 580 grams.Regarding aesthetics and looks, while not a critical factor for a CPU cooler, it's worth noting that many users have not commented on its appearance. This suggests that the cooler's design is rather unobtrusive, blending well with various PC setups. The Ryzen 7 5800X is a 105W TDP processor. Even if the Wraith Stealth has been developed for a 65W TDP CPU, let’s see if it can cool a 105W TDP CPU. Installation, however, seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. Some users have found it relatively easy to install, appreciating the convenience it offers. Others, however, have encountered difficulties, specifically with screwing it in and applying the right amount of pressure. It's advisable to exercise caution during installation to avoid any potential mishaps. Then Ryzen 7 2700 and Ryzen 5 2600X get the Wraith Spire, this model tips the scales at 372 grams making it 36% lighter, but it still sports a copper slug in the base. Then we have the non-X 2600 that gets the little Wraith Stealth weighing in at just 317 grams making it 15% lighter than the Spire and a whopping 45% lighter than the Prism.
