About this deal

Essentially, a great performing sealer can save you time, money and give you peace of mind keeping fluids out of the engine after noticing a bad leak, engine overheat or white smoke coming out your exhaust pipe. The only time we should hand it over to a professional mechanic is when there are underlying problems diagnosed after the attempt of an easier solution. Just because a bad gasket is a crucial and labor intensive work, it means there are no other options left to prevent your engine from being taken apart. There are! I know my car’s head gasket has a rubber-like coating on it, so this is when ATP AT-205 Re-Seal Stops Leaks was recommended to me. What’s Special About ATP AT-205 Re-Seal Stops Leaks?

That said, I tried this stuff (once) because of what I read on BITOG of it being not a miracle product. As a Hail Mary to get it over a time period before junking it okay but personally I am afraid of these type of products on anything worth keeping.Latest Post: Incorrect, purge flow Scion Tc 2013 Our newest member: Edwin4564 Recent Posts Unread Posts Tags Thanks for the reply. Heard a lot of positive comments about AT-205 for helping with oil leaks (admittedly it is a bandaid).

Compatible with conventional and synthetic oils, ATF, gear oil, power steering fluids and hydraulic oil AT-205 Re-Seal is a fast, effective and safe stop-leak for all rubber seals and gaskets. The exclusive formulation restores worn or dried out seals and is not harmful to internal bearings and components. Didn't help the RMS leak on the Xterra. Maxlife slowed it down a bit. For those with success, do you have to put it in ever OC? AT-205 Re-Seal is a fast, effective, and safe stop-leak for all rubber seals and gaskets. The exclusive formulation restores worn or dried out seals and is not harmful to internal bearings and components. I have been seeing a lot of good things being said about ATP AT-205 Re-Seal. Both for use, inside engines and transmissions etc. and outside for rubber rejuvenation as a spray-on application.Mostly I think similarly to Trav. When you DIY repair, you shake your head at all snake-oil solutions. You know things wear and there's no miracle-gro for metal wear. The Cam Carrier is sealed with sealant and “stop leak” will not stop a leak. The valve covers have a rubber gasket which again will probably not be sealed with a “stop leak” product. This looks unavailable here in the UK at any reasonable price. Does anyone know of an alternative product or brand that is in the UK?
