About this deal

P&G added that no other products from those lines are in the “scope of this recall and such other products may continue to be used as intended, including those aerosol dry shampoo spray products with production code ranges different from those specifically communicated.” I was intrigued by the concept of this product, but I don't think the execution is that great...at least not for my hair and scalp. I have an oily scalp and dry ends. You apply this product to your hands like a mousse and then part the hair and apply in sections. It makes the scalp soo wet and then you need to use a dryer to dry the product and then brush it out. I have fine wavy hair and doing this brushes out any wave pattern, so I need to tie my hair up after application otherwise its a mess and even then my roots still looked oily, it felt sooo greasy and took on an ashy cast on my dark blonde hair. Washing your hair is an important part of the hair care routine. It helps to remove dirt, oil and product build-up from the scalp and hair strands. But what happens if you don't wash your hair?

Ok so while dry shampoo is the best, it doesn’t mean you can forget about washing your hair altogether. We all like a lie-in, but there are times when your hair will need a thorough rinse and cleanse, so just ensure your addiction to dry shampoo stays within healthy limits. A general rule of thumb is two or three times a week max for any leave-in product that doesn’t involve washing the hair, unless it’s a hydrating oil, as even with dry shampoo, there can be too much of a good thing. Here's what to do. Apply dry shampoo liberally to your roots, rub it and let it absorb the grease and gunk. Then, grab your hairdryer and use it on your roots - to set the product in where it might usually fade throughout the day or for a looser lighter touch up, brush through the lengths of your hair to help spread the product evenly for some much-needed all-over volume. What not to do? Apply to wet hair, or think it’ll replace hair in need of a proper lathered up cleanse. For those with greasy hair, travel can be a double whammy of sweat and sebum (your scalps natural oils) and occasional showers can only make things feel worse. You put your hair through a lot — what with heat styling, dye, and chemical treatments — but did you know that you are most at risk to damage your hair when you wash it? True story: Hair is at its weakest when it is wet, meaning anything you do to it during that time will be more extreme, leading to breakage, split ends, and dryness. By skipping washes, you are allowing your hair’s natural oils to keep it hydrated and minimizing the harmful effects of any styling you do after washing. Who Can Use Dry Shampoo?

Utilising a new technology that actually revives the hair from the roots, it also smells great, with a clean scent that means that you really can fake a ‘just washed’ day. Hair Food Coconut Dry Shampoo (4.9 oz) with UPC 37000876717 with a production code in the range of 0027-0192 or 9007.The product is essentially like a hair mousse, which I'm not a fan of - it made my hair feel quite wet and took a couple of minutes to dry, which isn't ideal as I usually use dry shampoo when I'm in a rush and about to head out the door!
