Forever proud of our origins, it was important to launch a crest that upholds the Rangers values and details which are symbolic to the club. The ribbon which features below the crest design was influenced by the decorative crests from the club's earliest documented member books which feature an ornamental scroll ribbon. The ribbon design is synonymous with Ibrox where it features in the crests displayed on the side elevation of the iconic Bill Struth Main Stand. Now, this will upset a few of the usual suspects, won’t it? That much is very predictable but that’s where any thoughts of those on the outside should stay.
